I have been playing guitar for 22yrs.I've been playing professionally for 16yrs.I've taught for children as young as 8 to adults as old as 45 for 10yrs.I have played in all kinds of cover and original bands covering everything from Hank Willams jr to Slayer.My bands have opened up for Vince Neil,Great White,Jesse James Dupree(Jackel) and many other national artists.I have released two critically acclaimed albums in Detroit and Dallas.In 2005 I was chosen for a list of the best Guitar players in Detroit history. I have been a music teacher and private lesson instructor for the past 15 years. I have a bachelor of science degree in Music Education and hold a teaching certificate for all-level Music Education. In my private studio I have taught students from 3-70 and have enjoyed them all! In addition to teaching music I also serve as the Music Minister for my church. Students coming to me can expect a tremendous amount of experience as well as a committed, honest and caring teacher.

I am a student myself, going through my senior year as a music major at the University of North Texas in Denton. I've been playing the guitar for 8 years but pursuing music for even longer. I taught guitar lessons for 2 years in high school to all ages, and have worked at Camp Jam for 2 summers during my college career, teaching young kids to play in rock bands. I took composing classes and lessons and advanced classical guitar in college, and I also play the piano and the cello, so I've been going to private lessons all my life and know what students are looking for. Students will benefit from my ability to relate to their musical goals and aspirations since I myself am still somewhat of a student. In my free time I play guitar with my musician friends, and I also write my own songs because I'm a composer at heart. I love to pass on everything I know about music to others who want to express themselves with an instrument, and my goal as a teacher is to get everyone to that level.

Born in Arlington, Texas, I began playing guitar and bass guitar in high school. After studying for several years under Joey Faust, I studied Jazz, Classical Guitar, and Music Theory at TCC in Fort Worth. I've been teaching since 2003, my students ranging in age from 3 to over 70. I also play piano, mandolin, banjo, and ukulele.

That’s right! I have been teaching and performing music for 30 years! And, I hope to teach and perform another 30 years! I love music and I love sharing it with others.
