With a Masters degree in Arts and Consciousness Studies from J.F. Kennedy Univ, A BA in dance ethnology, performance and choreography and world music, and 3 A.A. degrees in dance, music and psychology, I feel successful to teach various subjects in the arts.

I teach all styles and all levels of guitar. Guitar is still my first love.
I have played and taught music for over 20 years. I am a multi-instrumentalist. Many of my students enjoy exploring other instruments as they learn and grow in their music knowledge. A typical lesson is in the comfort of your home. We review work from the last week, learn a new song and discuss any questions you might have. Taking lessons should be fun, challenging and full of real music. I use music to learn and grow in every lesson.

I started playing guitar in the 5th grade and in middle school began playing in rock groups. At the beginning of high school, I started teaching in some of the local music stores in the area. While wanting more from my playing, I started classical guitar lessons with an Andre Segovia student, Rani Cochran, and soon started lessons from Warren Nunes, a top jazz guitarist in the Bay Area. While continuing to take lessons in both types of music, I majored in Music at the local college. There I played in the jazz band and in guitar ensembles. After receiving my A.A. degree, I took classical guitar lessons with Larry Ferrara at the Conservatory of Music in San Francisco.
