they can master their challenging orchestra music. I love to help anyone learn how to
play the piano, the violin, the viola or the mandolin. I want you to be able to play the

music theory and history and help you train your own ears. You can compose

I grew up studying violin under the Suzuki method for over 13 years at the University of Louisville School of Music Preparatory School, my listening and playing skills were nurtured at the young age of five. I performed with the Louisville Youth Orchestra and other ensembles increasing my skills and confidence playing the instrument. A confidence that I can bring out in you as your violin teacher.

Beyond the classical foundation of Suzuki's collection, the violin has afforded me a unique opportunity to express myself in a wide range of musical styles and venues:

Julia began playing the trumpet at age 11 in her middle school band. She found her real passion was singing, so she began training with a voice coach, playing piano, and performing in musical theatre productions.

In 2004 Julia entered the School of Music and Theatre Arts at Washington State University. She studied voice and piano and was an avid performer in the WSU Library Atrium Recital Series. She was cast in 6 productions of the school's Opera Workshop Series including "Jane Eyre," "Naughty Marietta" and "Der Freitschutz." She also played her trumpet in the Cougar Marching Band for 2 seasons. Julia taught private voice and piano lessons from her studio during college until she graduated in May, 2010.

Hello there! My name is Jeremy and I have 30 years of experience as a pianist and 10 years of teaching experience. I am a Dad, my kids ranging in age from 3-16 so I am extremely comfortable teaching little ones and have a pretty much endless supply of patience :) I trained for 12 years under the Pace Method as a young person, as well as with a private tutor as I grew older. Mezzo-Soprano, Jordan M. was born in a small town on the Kenai Peninsula, in Alaska. A year later her family moved to Seattle Washington where she was raised. She was accepted into the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she continues to study with Mezzo-Soprano Catherine Cook. My father once told me my first words were to a melody. I grew up traveling on the road with my father's rock n' roll band and it was no one's surprise when I majored in music in college. With my B.A. in Vocal Music, I have sung everything from Schubert, Puccini, and Handel to Adele, Billie Holiday, and Barbershop four-part harmony. As you discover your inner Diva or Madame Butterfly, I will teach you the essentials of breath control, pitch accuracy, and vowel placement through interactive and passion-driven practice.

I have been teaching French Horn and piano privately for about five years, mainly in Lynnwood, WA. I have also coached horn players in local school bands during this time. For me, having parents of different ethnicities and siblings that were much older than me, I was heavily impacted by the wide variety of music to which my family members listened. The force of this crayon box of rhythms and sounds captivated and affected me so much that it is the key experience that I draw from in making my own music today.

I grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska (a small town in the center of the state) so my only option for entertainment and fun was getting involved in the arts! I started performing at a very young age as both a dancer and a musician. I studied classical ballet, modern dance, hip hop and street dance, and world dance traditions throughout my formative years, which helped me to gain rhythmical fluency. A native Texan, David S. was born in San Antonio and raised in Pasadena, a suburb of southeast Houston. Upon graduation from South Houston High School, David went on to the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Music Education degree with Instrumental Emphasis. He also has earned Texas' EC-12 Teaching Certification following his undergraduate study.
