I'm a professional drummer, percussionist, and composer here in Denver offering a fresh new approach to drum instruction. I teach at two separate locations complete with dual drum sets and a complete sound system that allows for both my students and I to play simultaneously and at full live volume!

As a Graduate of the California Institute of the Arts, I've been lucky enough to have studied with some of the most diverse masters of drumset and percussion from several continents around the globe. I've been a player of the drums for over 23 years now, and I'm still practicing and perfecting the art, gaining new friends, students, and live stage experiences on the way.

Trent has over 15 years of experience polishing his music talents. While working towards his Bachelor's in Music, he also played in a touring band and still managed a 3.8 GPA from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Trent's musical talents have taken him touring all around the country.

Trent started teaching music right after college and has continued for three years. Trent has high expectations and is skilled in helping his students reach their goals. With a constant effort to maintain a fun learning environment and with a focus on reading skills and solid technique, Trent's students enjoy lessons packed with information and a good time. He teaches beginning through advanced bass, and beginning through intermediate guitar and drums.

My name is Daryl and I love music! I am a professional saxophone player and teacher. I also teach drum set, percussion, and music theory. I have a background heavily set in the jazz and improvisational realms as well as classical, blues, and rock. I recently received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from City College of New York with an emphasis in jazz and improvisation. I have been playing professional gigs for the last 8 years (in Denver as well as New York City) and have been teaching for the last three years, which I have come to find great passion for!

My name is Alan M. and I have been teaching drums privately since my senior year of College while attending the University of Colorado, Boulder. Many of my students are still playing today.

I have also taught in the public schools. Having taught General, Instrumental music for over 10 years. This gives me a unique perspective at what is being taught in the Public and Private school systems.

My professional experience has included playing in local productions of musical theater. I also have done many private engagements from Jazz quartets, Big Band, and Orchestras.

I have had a love of music from a very early age. At age 5, I started learning how to play piano and by middle school, I started playing the drums. I continued to play music throughout high school and college, and learned to perform percussion for just about every genre of music. All of this led to my Bachelors of Arts in Music Education with an emphasis in Percussion and Jazz Studies. As part of the requirements for this degree, I took many classes exploring all areas of music and teaching and found teaching to be a passion of mine. My musical experience includes teaching drum lessons to individuals and groups, organizing and instructing two drum lines for elementary school age children, being the lead drummer for a local band playing jazz, rock, funk and blues, and being the choir leader and drum player for my church. In the past, I was also the drum major for a local, national award winning drill team.

Paul has played the drums for over 30 years. During this time he has accumulated a wide range of musical experiences to draw from. He attended Grove School of Music in 1990 and since then he has played, recorded, and studied with many talented artists across a wide range of genres.

Paul recently relocated to Denver, Colorado. He spent the last five years living in Los Angeles, performing and recording with many talented artists. He has toured the US and opened for national acts at major theater venues across the country. He has contributed his own music to two independent films and continues to write and record music at his home studio.

In California, Paul taught 25 students per week in the San Fernando Valley. He also participated in building and teaching a weekly rock band program that enabled students of all ages and skill levels to experience what it is like to play music in a group setting.
