I started studying classical piano at the age of 6 and continued through high school before going on to study with Robert Shannon at Oberlin Conservatory, where I majored in music history and theory (as well as English and creative writing - I've always had a lot of interests!). I also sang in choirs from a early age, including my high school's Madrigal Singers, the MMEA Northeast District Chorus, and the Oberlin College Choir, a select group which performs regularly with the Cleveland Orchestra. After graduation, I tried out a variety of musical activities, including singing with a semi-professional a cappella group, None of the Above, and appearing in local community theatre productions. But I finally realized that I'm most comfortable behind a piano, whether playing and conducting for musical theatre, coaching singers, writing music for youth productions, or teaching the next generation of music lovers how to navigate the keys. Laura has been performing and teaching music for the past ten years throughout the New York State and Eastern Massachusetts areas. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Voice from SUNY Fredonia and a Master's Degree in Opera from the Longy School of Music. She has taught singers at all levels and ages. While Laura enjoys singing and music in all styles from rock to folk to soul, her specialty is classical singing and opera. While attaining her Bachelor's Degree at SUNY Fredonia, Laura focused heavily on both performance and pedagogy. She debuted the role of Eva Gobel in Crazy Sunday, based off the story by F. My recent performances have included the role of Morales in the opera Carmen, concerts and TV appearances with the award-winning folk music group Voice of the Turtle, as well as numerous recitals. As a classical collaborative singer, I've performed in a choral setting with the New York Philharmonic, the Dresden Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and other ensembles. Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Brandons first musical experiences were on a child size drum set given to him on his 6th Christmas.Then i started learning some of the basic fundamentals of drumming from playing in church.Like funk, and reggae an blues. Brandon finally took music seriously in MiddleSchool and began taking lessons from Dustin Haner, a member of the very first graduating class of the USC Thornton Music and Peter Eriskin now a teacher at the Thornton School. After studying under these talented individuals, Brandon went on to pursue his education in music where he graduated from Cal State Fullerton University in 2008 with a degree in Music. After college, Brandon began work as a freelance musician and percussion teacher, teaching hundreds of students in the Long Beach and La, CA area. In July 2008 he relocated to Boston, MA, where he attend school, teaches, freelances, and plays drums and percussion in local/national funk/jazz/rock/reggae groups.

I started my musical training playing classical piano when I was six years old. From there I studied Classical/Romantic Piano until I was seventeen. Since I was brought up listening to my Dad's Beatles albums and I became more and more interested in rock music as I grew up. In high school, I began learning guitar so that I could become a more versatile musician and to be able to play anywhere. Before I graduated high school, I completed a course on Music Technology and AP Music Theory and I knew that I wanted to continue my music studies in College. I acquired my Bachelor of Science degree in Music Technology at Northeastern University, with a minor in Music Industry. During my time in College I had worked in a professional recording studio, studied piano/ guitar/voice, and composed numerous instrumental and acousmatic works.

A Boston native and recent UMass Amherst graduate, Alec has played and performed music for most of his life. This multi-talented, vibrant, up and coming artist has performed around MA as part of several ensembles. Most notably, he spent 4 years performing with locally award-winning and notorious get-down-and-party band Kids on a Hill (an Amherst-based neo-funk band in which he played the alto saxophone,) and UMass Amherst’s Doo Wop Shop a cappella group, whose Disney Medley currently has 3.5 million views on YouTube. Alec is currently living and performing in the Boston area as a solo singer-songwriter and front man with his new Indie-Pop band, A Little Backwards.
