I'm a very goal oriented, passionate, and motivated individual with a laid back and fun personality. I believe learning music is supposed to be fun and easy to learn. I like to motivate my students as well as watch them grow and achieve all that they can achieve in and out of the classroom. Music is one of the only subjects out there where you learn mostly by experience and constant involvement. I like to create as many musical learning experiences as possible, as well as have my students actively participating and learning at all times. I want to instill the passion, drive, and energy that music has instilled in my own life into the lives of others. As a younger brother at the age of five, I began studying the piano because my older sister did. After my foundation in music strengthened I fell in love with the trumpet. At first, each note took time to develop and I enjoyed the challenge. The trumpet allowed me to travel all over the Southeast later in life and even to China with a 1940's Radio Show. I enjoyed many top-level bands the kindled my love and passion for good music. I want to share that kindling with my students in a nurturing and guiding situation, just like my teachers gave me.
I used to go to lessons and become so motivated and inspired that I thought I could change the world. I always knew that I would want to give back exactly that. Born in New York City and always surrounded by different music, Michael began studying at a very early age with the piano. Later on, he got serious with the upright and electric bass and got his degree from SUNY Purchase in jazz performance. At SUNY Purchase, Michael studied with some of the best teachers in New York such as Hal Galper, Todd Coolman, and Kermit Driscoll. He has a lot of experience as a performer in New York City as both a leader and a sideman in many different styles of music. His formal background is jazz but he can be seen regularly performing with pop, rock, hip hop, funk, and soul groups.

My name is Noel B., and I am a drummer living and working in New York City.
I have been fortunate to perform with jazz legends such as John Scofield, Pascal Niggenkemper, Andy Milne, Dave Pietro, Dave Douglas and the list continues. These shows were at many first rate jazz clubs including: Blue Note, The Jazz Gallery, The Stone, The Tea Lounge, Tomi Jazz, Cornelia St. Cafe, The Falcon, Twins Jazz, Trumpets Jazz and many others. While receiving my Masters degree at NYU, I was also employed as an adjunct music faculty member.

In 2012 I was selected as one of Half Note Records musicians in the "Promising Artist Series." The award included responsibilities such as giving concerts and leading clinics.

My drumming education began with Les Harris Jr., a long time student of the legendary educator/player Alan Dawson. I have also studied with drumming greats Jeff Ballard, Billy Drummond, Ari Hoenig and Tony Moreno.

Originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, trumpeter Alex has strong skills conducive to playing, and teaching, many styles of music including classical, big band, orchestral, and theater. Most recently, Alex toured North America playing trumpet, flugelhorn and piccolo trumpet on the national tours of "South Pacific" and Disney's "Beauty and the Beast." While on tour, Alex successfully auditioned for Cirque du Soleil and is awaiting final round auditions for Kooza, Zumanity, and La Nouba.

Before moving to NYC, Alex gained professional experience playing trumpet on the high seas with Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity and Azamara Cruise Lines. On board he played jazz, big band, musical theater and guest artist shows. I am a graduate of Montclair State University with a Bachelors degree in music education and a minor in sociology. I have also received an Associate’s degree in music from Brookdale Community College and have been playing the French Horn since I was 10-years-old and the piano since I was 14-years-old. I have also played a variety of other instruments including the trumpet, trombone and clarinet.

I have performed with the NJ Conservatory in Beethoven’s 3rd Symphony and 9th Symphony. I have also conducted intermediate, concert and beginner bands and have given both group instrumental lessons and one-on-one private lessons. These group and individual lessons include clarinet, French Horn, trumpet, flute, trombone, saxophone, violin and percussion. I am most diverse in brass instruments and piano. I've appeared on records with dozens of NYC area rock and pop bands, and perform as a classical and jazz trombonist in all five boroughs and New Jersey.

I listen to and play all kinds of music from Beethoven to Stravinsky, Arcade Fire to Beyonce, James Brown to Snoop Dogg/Lion. I have had the pleasure to share the stage with rockers Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots), and Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater), and jazz greats Maynard Ferguson, Jimmie Lunceford, Conrad Herwig, "Blue" Lou Marini, and Jeff Coffin (Flecktones).

Hello! I'm a professional low brass performer working in the New York City Tri-State Area. As a freelancer, I have to play in many different musical situations, and do so while sounding like I work in that situation every day. I moved from Minnesota to attend the New School Jazz Program, and graduated summa cum laude in 2005. I then attended Brooklyn College to become a NYS certified music teacher, and taught in middle and high schools for 5 years before embarking on my freelance career. During college and my teaching years, I taught private students from age 5 - 85, all sharing one thing - a love for music!
