I started playing at 9 years old in a public school band and jazz band on alto sax and guitar. Since then, I've received private lessons and studied at the Denver Guitar Institute. I've played in several bands and specialize in several styles and techniques including jazz, blues improvisation, solo technique, ear training and composition.

With 15 years experiance playing bass and 2 years jazz study at the college level, I can teach students to learn songs of their choosing, from any genre, with proper technique. I can also teach students to understand the theory behind the music, so they can begin to develop their own approach and style.

Andrew is a professional musician that has performed at various venues in the Las Vegas area. He is currently attending the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where he plans on obtaining a Jazz Studies degree in the fall of 2013. Andrew has traveled to different cities to play and perform from Monterey, California to Adelaide, Austrailia. He is well versed in multiple styles and is a very sought after performer and teacher. Andrew has been teaching for 5 years and started while he was in high school while attending the prestigious Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts. I graduated from St. Mary's College of Maryland in 1985 with a Bachelors degree in classical guitar, and have been teaching guitar and electric bass for over 25 years.
