I'm a guitarist, songwriter and recording engineer with a degree in Music from SUNY Stony Brook. I have played in touring bands across the country and have composed original music for numerous video projects.

Ben grew up with the radio on, all day, every day. It's no wonder that he went on to become a professional musician! After being awarded music scholarships to college in Philadelphia, Ben decided to devote all of his attention on playing, and joined the thriving East-coast jazz scene as a bass player. After performing hundreds of shows, going on tour, and recording on several albums, he moved to Boulder Colorado to pursue his other love - contemplative psychology. Ben now combines his love and experience of music with his knowledge of psychology and personal meditation practice, allowing him to create a unique, personal, and effective relationship with his students.

I'm Tiffany. Ive been teaching guitar for 10 years now. I encourage students to find their creativity and voice in music. I went to Front Range for Music for 2 years. I have taught students in seattle and traveled many miles to gain teaching experience with different cultures and age groups.

We learn by teaching. That is why I love to teach, because I love to learn. I have made many great connections while teaching music to people and one of the ways to do that is to work together on a common goal. I started teaching music because during my own studies I have discovered many quick learning strategies that make playing music fun. I teach from my home studio as well as via skype. I am originally from Northeast Kansas, where I started playing guitar and studying music at the age of 9.

While studying guitar, I had several influential teachers, including internationally renowned finger-style guitarist, Andy McKee, and University of Montana Professor of Music and Classical Guitar, Dr. Luis Millan.

Later, in my teens, I also began playing the Banjo, Mandolin, accordion, and other various instruments.

While attending college at Washburn University in Topeka, KS, I began teaching private music lessons to students of all ages, and experience levels in Northeast Kansas. During this time, I also recorded and regularly performed with my bluegrass/country/cajun band.

I have experience playing and teaching numerous genres including rock, pop, country, blues, jazz, bluegrass, cajun/zydeco, reggae, classical, folk, etc.

My name is Sue (Ms Sue). I am thrilled to be an educator in the Take Lessons. I have been involved with music and music programs since I can remember, learning how to read music when I was six in a private band. I received by BA in Music Education K-12, choral and instrumental from Colorado State University. I taught at Prairie Middle School in Cherry Creek for three years. I raised and home schooled my four children. I have a Masters in Music Education from the University of Colorado at Boulder. I truly enjoy sharing my passion for music with children and am looking forward to a rewarding time of discovery, of exploration, of excitement, of continual growth in awareness, and of experiencing the thrill of accomplishment with your child and you!

I have been dedicated for the last five years to the study of Operatic Voice, although in my former years of conservatoire and university, I gathered a vast background of popular rhythms, including Jazz, Tango from Buenos Aires, Brazilian Bossa, Blues, Rock, and rhythms from Cuba.

Born in Rapid City, South Dakota, I started taking piano lessons at the age of 6. Since that time, my love for music has grown with each passing day.

I graduated from The Entertainment Career Connection with a certification in Audio Engineering and Production, where I studied audio mixing, recording, production and mastering. I currently study music education at Arapahoe Community College/Denver Metro.

I am very active in the community volunteering my time as the Event Coordinator and Board of Directors for a non-profit orginization called The Denver Creative Movement. In addition, I keep myself busy musically playing in my band L.A.M.A. LIVE (Little Ambition Makes A lot), and working on a number of solo projects.

I continue to follow my life-long passion for music by educating others. I believe that music lessons should be a fun and rewarding experience, and place a high value on learning how to use music in everyday life.

After seeing his first rock concert, Nick knew music had to be in his future. He picked up a friend’s guitar the next day for the first time, and after only three years received a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Nick has been performing in rock bands from high school and throughout college. He also has 4+ years of experience teaching students ranging from age 3 to 60+. Nick specializes in styles such as rock, blues, country, and pop.

Teaching has always been a very rewarding job because you get to see your students grow as musicians.
My philosophy as a teacher is to bring out the unique artist in every student. Everyone learns differently, and everyone offers something very special as a musician. I will help my students by bringing out their strong points and tackling their weaknesses in an organized and structured manner.

Ben is a teacher who currently resides in Denver, Colorado, where he was born and raised. He prefers not to identify with one age level or subject, but rather intends on developing a diverse "professional repertoire" that challenges him to grow. His primary musical talent is vocal performance, but he is also a self-taught guitar and ukulele player, as well as a songwriter/composer/arranger.

Ben attended the Denver School of the Arts in middle school, where he studied vocal music, music theory, and theatre. It was at DSA where Ben laid the foundation for all subsequent developments in his music studies and training.
