I am a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist with a dual-degree in Music Theory & Composition and Philosophy from Butler University in Indianapolis. I have 10 years of teaching experience and over 13 years of performance experience. I am classically trained, but have since branched out to genres such as Jazz, Bluegrass, Rock, Electronic Music, and anything in between.

I will design lessons around your interests, goals, and needs. These can include full pieces, exercises, scales and arpeggios, worksheets, compositions, or improvisations (depending on your area of study.) If students are interested, I would even like to hold studio wide recitals once or twice a year to give your family and friends a chance to see your progress.

I would like to give my students more opportunities to perform in front of the audience because in that way, they can progress faster and still have fun with other student in group. I do think to make student have fun with violin is important too but as a instructor, I think I need to find a fine line between having fun and make them play violin with good techniques and skills

I promote the art of listening to music just as much as playing the notes on the page. My name is Annarita and I am a violinist from Des Plaines, Illinois. I began playing at the age of seven, and by the time I was in high school I realized I wanted to make the violin my career.
I attended Loyola University Chicago and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music. In 2010, I began performing with the Fox Valley Orchestra and continue performing with them today.
I was lucky enough to have studied abroad during the fall semester of 2011. I lived in Vienna, Austria for a few months to expand my knowledge of classical music.
