I love teaching! As a lyric mezzo soprano and I have over fifteen years of experience teaching students of all ages. I especially enjoy working with students who are excited to learn about music and singing. The thing I enjoy most about teaching is helping my students take risks and watching them grow as performers. I'm a hands on teacher and I encourage an open dialogue in lessons. Recent performances include performances at Carnegie Hall, with the San Francisco Orchestra and Vienna Philharmonic, the Metropolitan Opera, Santa Fe Opera, and Central City Opera
I completed my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance with a certificate in Music in Education from the New England Conservatory of music and completed a Master of Music in Opera Performance from the University of Maryland Opera Studio. I serve on the music teaching staff of both Highbridge Voices and the National Children's chorus in addition to maintaining an active private teaching studio and a busy international performing schedule.

With good technique, my students and I can team up to accomplish anything from singing classical songs and even some opera arias to popular songs and musical theater. It is my goal to help you ...
