Hello! My name is JEN. I was born in Miami and raised in Marathon, Florida. At the age of 3 I began my journey as a musician learning to sing, play the guitar, drums, and piano. Throughout high school, I was at the top of the ranks in marching band playing first chair saxophone for 4 years. After graduation, I made the Florida Keys my permanent home and quickly became involved in the local music scene.
In 1997 I began my career as a professional singer and musician, playing both covers and originals to thousands of fans around the world. I caught the eye of the Carter family with Spectra Music in 2000 and the doors began to open. My songwriting has earned several awards from Billboard Music, Peoples Choice and ASCAP. Over the past decade, I have had the opportunity to perform and record with artists including Nick Carter, 38 special, Rick Derringer, Aaron Carter, O-Town, Lindsey Pagano, Clarence Clemmons of the E Street Band, Asia, AJ Mclean, and many more.
More doors opened in 2007 when I signed on with long time friend and writing partner Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys as a writer, guitarist, vocalist and solo artist. Since then, I have also had the opportunity to co-write and record with Grammy nominated and Grammy award winning producers such as Dre (Andre Harris) and Vidal Davis,Swift and Bruce Wayne of Midi Mafia,Brent Kuntzle of One Republic, which I co wrote "Falling in Love again" with, and many others.
Currently living in the Nashville TN area, I have been holding private vocal, writing, and recording sessions in my home studio, also songwriting for both up and coming/major artists as well as working in TV/Film. I have taken a significant interest in developing young talent from the ground up. I am committed and looking forward to helping you reach your personal vocal and writing goals...JEN
