I love music and and teaching individuals and groups of all ages to sing and to use music to express themselves! My earliest musical influence was my mother who taught me to sing at the age of 3 and my tap dancing teacher, who taught me to sing and dance with poise and confidence. Learning to perform at any early age and to tap into our musical intelligence and creativity can build inner strength, character and confidence. Music is a means to explore, enjoy and center one's life. My performance experience includes solo cabaret shows, concerts and various venues including the United Nations, private & corporate parties and restaurants in the NYC area. I am the choral director for a women's chorus that has performed internationally. My teaching experience includes private lessons, ...

Music is definitely the universal language, and there isn't a genre I don't love; it's important to me that that aspect be brought to lessons, as well! From humble New Jersey beginnings to an opera career, I've seen the power of what music can do! Whether it's opera, musical theater, folk, rock, or just public speaking, anything YOU love to do, I would love to teach you! Having taught all ages and levels, from first graders to adults, from someone who's never sung a note in his or her life to semi-professionals, I cater my lessons to what YOU as a student need and are interested in. Lessons shouldn't be a chore - I like to foster an environment you look forward to being a part of! I also think that music, like any sport, is hard work, and takes seriously practice; even hobbies take ...

I absolutely love working with students to instill and encourage confidence and the joy of music. I graduated from school with a degree in Vocal Performance & Theater Performance. Not only have I performed in numerous musicals and stage productions, I've been able to sing solo, and in both small and large ensembles in nearly every state in the US and all over the world (including Austria, Germany, Canada, and Costa Rica). I have since moved on from performing because I love sharing my passion and enthusiasm for voice with my students! I have been teaching voice since my senior year of high school. After some pedagogy training in college, I moved on to teach several students out of my home studio in Baltimore and now in New York. I incorporate aspects of classical and contemporary music to
