Tanisha is a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music's Vocal and Music Business programs. Since arriving to Los Angeles, Tanisha has built a solid career providing artist development services to professional entertainers, recording artists and actors. Her services Include vocal coaching, piano lessons, music theory, songwriting, performance development, media and stage training. Tanisha is also an accomplished songwriter. She is currently co-writing an upcoming project with platinum selling, award winning recording artist Shanice Wilson.

In addition to teaching music, Tanisha has enjoyed a successful career in the entertainment industry working with top tier performers such as Chaka Khan, The Black Eyed Peas, Ben Vereen and Babyface to name a few. In 2011, Tanisha started Personal 10, a personal development company focusing on simultaneous internal and external transformations. She also launched the White Hall Arts Academy in the South Central section of Los Angeles.

After 10 years of teaching and performing in New York City, I moved to Los Angeles to be near family.
I can't wait to share the knowledge I've learned (from Juilliard and MSM faculty, Broadway musical directors and coaches) with my students.

My career is varied and special:
*I taught theater to elementary kids in Harlem
*I taught Voice and Piano at a performing arts school in Connecticut and with Little Maestros (NYC's premiere infant and toddler music classes)
*I performed regionally and internationally with major opera companies and regional theaters.

I studied Music Education at SDSU, Musical Theater at NYU and received a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice from Manhattan School of Music. I teach beginning to intermediate piano with students starting as young as 5.

Stefani's musical talents were first observed at the age of 5, when she began private study of piano and music theory. She played the alto saxophone for a brief period of 4 years during junior high and early high school, but then moved on to join the school choir at age 16. This choice led to the unexpected discovery of a beautiful, powerful voice. Stefani earned a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre at the University of Tulsa, with special studies in jazz vocals, ear training, and theory. Her college career provided her with intense studies in the vocal styles of Musical Theatre, Classical, and Jazz. She performed in many musicals, plays, and recitals at TU, and during each summer, she worked as a cast member of Light Opera Oklahoma. She was a featured vocalist with the TU Jazz Combo and Big Band, and she performed at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame. She gained her first studio experience her senior year at TU when she recorded a full-length jazz album.

As a child I watched from the doorway as my older sister took her piano lessons. From that experience I taught myself to play the piano. My formal training came in college where I received my BA in Applied Music in piano and voice. I studied classical music and opera from a visiting professor from Peabody Conservatory, Baltimore MD. I graduated with honors and gave my Town Hall performance in the Spring of my Senior year. I had a passionate desire to be involved in music, to hear it and to perform it. I spent several years singing with the San Diego Opera Company, performing lead roles in Musical Theater and soloing in concerts from Monterrey to San Diego, CA. While still a student in college, I taught piano to children from the local community, so I have accumulated decades of teaching experience. Stephanie has been singing and studying voice since she was a child, over 20 years! She holds a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Stephanie has been lucky enough to study with some of the top teachers in the country and brings the experience gained directly to you!

Born in the United States, she found her calling in music at an early age. Her hunger for knowledge and quest for vocal excellence and the ability to sing in multiple languages ( English, Spanish, Japanese and Italian), led her to Musicians Institute in Hollywood, Ca. Here is where she then attained her Associates degree in Vocal Performance after graduating from American Musical Dramatic Academy also in Hollywood, Ca and now pursuing her Bachelors in Music. Her passion for multiple languages and love of music is the desire driving her to share her gifts for teaching young children to open the door to their own musical abilities and hidden artistic desires. She is currently working on her debut album consisting of multiple languages. She is also currently directing a brand new musical consisting of her original music debuting in 2012.

Having fun while learning is my philosophy. Your math, reading, and comprehension skills improve greatly with the practice and skills of performing in music.

My passion for music and teaching goes way back when I wrote my first song at age 9 about an American Indian girl- I HAVE NO INDIAN BLOOD IN ME- but somehow I felt a connection- possibly something I learned at school or on TV. That experience- it changed and improved the evolution of my maturing through today. I was able to express my thoughts and facts I have learned through a song! Musical instruments- I played the guitar and piano on that first recording and my voice; and wrote out the lyrics and music notes! It gave me such confidence in myself. I felt I had achieved a great deal and won some educational contests and received great respect from my teachers.
Having the skill, experience and desire to share these forms of expressions with others is my goal in life. Music has helped me overcome sad times and...

I believe that everyone can sing, it is just a matter of learning how to use your unique instrument. From a very young age I was sharing my love of the arts with others as a performer. I grew up with an immense appreciation for all forms of art and found music to be the ideal way to express myself. My extensive education and performance experience has allowed me to cultivate my skills and knowledge so that I can best support each student on their own unique journey of cultivating their authentic singing voice. As a teacher I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to support students by providing the positive and supportive guidance and experiences they need in order to cultivate their own musical gifts.

I am a graduate from CSU Northridge in vocal performance. I have studied under Judy Scott and Marvelee Cariaga. Singing for the past eight years, I have performed in many operas, musicals, opera scenes, chamber music ensembles, and recitals. As seasoned choral singer who has been performing in choirs for ten years, I was, most recently, a member of the 2003 Choir of the World winning ensemble Northridge Singers from 2008-2010. I teach voice in a number of different styles including: classical, musical theater, pop, and folk. I am also an experienced sight-reader, and can instruct singers in sight-singing and musicianship.

Jan L. is an award winning songwriter, producer, actress, and artist developer. Her studio, Angel Diva Music, is designed to improve artist abilities on and off the stage as well as giving the clientele first-hand knowledge of the industry while increasing their creativity.

Backed by an extensive musical background debuting with the Philadelphia Orchestra and continuing her career singing with Leonard Bernstein and the New York Philharmonic, Jan L. went on to receive a Bachelor’s of Education in Opera at Temple University and two Master’s Degrees from Combs College of Music in Theatre Arts and Composition.

Jan’s accolades in music continued as she wrote “Damaged” for the newest Ralph Lauren Polo website campaign and composed a television theme for Lou Rawls called "Knock Outs". Rounding out her already stellar résumé, Jan L. has worked with Narada Walden, Marla Sokoloff, and famed vocal coach Seth Riggs and his client roster.

I've been teaching piano, cello, voice and theory in Los Angeles for over thirty years, helping students develop their particular interests in music and to encourage them to reach their personal goals. I love the classics but many of my students want to play popular music, contemporary sounds and jazz and that is fine too. I received my BA in music at UCLA and a Master's at Cal State Northridge. I conduct vocal and bell choirs, run a concert series, play chamber music, sing in a band and teach in the Community College District in addition to running my private studio.
