All styles of singing for all ages
Music has always been a huge part of my life, even before I knew it would become my career. I began taking piano lessons as a kindergartner and joined my first choir in 5th grade. I began taking voice lessons at age 15 and found my passion in opera by the time I graduated high school. I got my Bachelor of music at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where I sang with Chamber Singers and Concert Choir as both a choir member and soloist. I also sang the roles of Hippolyta (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Third Lady (The Magic Flute), the Mother (The Consul), and Cherubino (The Marriage of Figaro). After college, I moved up to Seattle to get my Master's in vocal performance at UW, where I participated in Chamber Singers, and played the Witch in a whimsical production of Hansel ...

If you choose, then we will work on ear training and sight-singing to help you understand your printed music. After that, we work on songs we choose together, based on what music you are passionate about singing and what repertoire level seems right for you. Through your songs, we will work on diction, phrasing, breath support, tension, and the joy of interpreting a song in your own way. I provide ...

Hi! My name is Lauren and I have been in love with music for most of my life. Since I was six, I have been singing in one way or another. In middle school I was in the school choir and I performed in a number of band concerts as a vocalist. In high school, I starred in our school's production of "Once Upon a Mattress" as Princess Winnifred the Woebegone. By senior year, I was approached by various faculty to perform our national anthem at three different school events including the NCS Women's basketball championship games. Later that year, I was unanimously chosen to sing our National Anthem at my high school graduation. In college, I started taking lessons in opera and fell completely in love with ...
