Playing piano after 2 lessons

I am learning how to read notes and understanding how music is written along with timing and playing. I am very happy to be able to sit at my piano which I never played before and actually play simple songs using both hands after two sessions. Thank you!!

Excellent violin teacher

Charlene has done a wonderful job with teaching my 6 year old daughter the fundamentals of playing the violin using the Suzuki method. She has not only helped technically, but has also given my daughter the encouragement and patience necessary to develop her confidence with playing. Her high level of experience and passion for playing the violin is very evident. I would highly recommend Charlene to anyone looking to improve their performance with this instrument.

I teach beginners as early as age 4.5 and have taught groups of adults as well. I am an advanced player, but typically teach beginners up to mid-intermediate level.

About Kecia

I've been playing violin since elementary school. I went to Eastern Michigan & played in the orchestra and I've attended summer music camps galore including Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp and Interlochen. I traveled throughout Europe with Blue Lake's International Orchestra and also played with their Alumni Orchestra. I've been teaching since 1990 and currently teach both in several studios as well as online. I play in community orchestras and with various quartets.

As a teacher, I like to get to know your interests and goals for playing the violin so that we can structure lesson plans that will help you keep your interest and continually help you improve. Violin does take practice so it's important to play often at home in advance of lessons and ...
