Jason T. started his illustrious performing career at the tender age of five in day camp volunteering to sing “The Happy Wanderer” a capella for Parent’s Day.

Mounting productions in his garage as a child, he convinced his friends to be in the show with only his father as a reluctant audience member who was toiling away at his work bench. Combine these garage productions with performances on the back patio and it was clear Jason always loved to put on a show.

In the sixth grade, he performed “The Impossible Dream” from “Man of La Mancha” with his red cape pinned to his shirt and wielding his mighty sword assembled from a yard stick and tin foil. At this point, his career in entertainment was firmly embedded in his heart and soul.

Double majoring in Vocal Performance and Education in college, Jason honed his craft performing in operas and jazz vocal groups all the while learning the business side of entertainment.

Music has always been a part of Josh Collins. He started playing around with instruments at the age of three and singing at the age of seven. He instantly fell in love with music and grew a passion for it. At the age of five he attended his first musical concert, Garth Brooks. Josh loved every minute of it and he could see himself on a stage like Garth Brooks in the future. One day he heard someone playing guitar down in an alley and from that day forward he knew he wanted to play that instrument and it would become his specialty. After more than 15 years of performing experience, Edward most recently released his first album, "Canzone," which features some of his favorite Italian love songs. Previously, he was selected to attend the exclusive 2007 Casalmaggiore International Music Festival in Italy. In 2005, he created the role of Chang Chung in the world premier of "Genghis Khan" in Austin, Texas. His performance garnered rave reviews, and is available on CD through Salvage Vanguard Theater archives. In 2004, Edward was a Finalist in the "Young Artist Vocal Competition of El Paso, and he also received first place in the Houston NATS Adult Division.

I've been a musician for a very long time and can testify that music heals on a mind, body, and soul level! Though my official performances in front of audiences started with playing woodwind instruments such as clarinet, sax, and flute from elementary school through high school in band, my primary instrument in earnest has been voice for the past 27 years.

However, my Mom told me that I have actually been singing--well, humming (a recognizable tune at that!)-- since I was nine months old. I've lead numerous solos in small ensembles and large choirs over the years, and am very involved not only with the adult music ministry at my church, but direct our children's choir. I'm a huge fan of arranging and creating harmonies for duets, trios, and small groups. I’ve shared the stage with Erykah Badu, Ruben Studdard, Rickey Dillard, Chrisette Michele, Ledisi, and CeCe Winans.

First off, my name is Kailey, and I'm 23 years old. I am a recent graduate of Abilene Christian University with a degree in Music (concentration in Voice). I have taken voice lessons since the age of 13, which is 10 years now! I've learned many things along my journey, and I would love to help beginning singers realize their full potential.

Singing is and always will be my passion!

I love learning, and I love sharing how to learn. I began as a self-taught pianist at age 12, and from ages 14 to the present I have had the experience of studying with some of the most phenomenal teachers of this generation. George Katz, former chair of the Drake University Piano Department and student of the legendary artists Alfred Cortot and Marguerite Long; Jerome Lowenthal, also a student of Cortot (and William Kapell) and former chair of the Julliard piano department, and Jose Feghali, winner of the 1985 Cliburn Gold Medal have been my most influential teachers. From them, I learned how to learn, how to teach, and how to teach learning, which I believe is the most important skill.

As a winner of the 2000 Interlochen Concerto Competition, I had my orchestral debut that year with the World Youth Symphony Orchestra at 16. Following that, I have given concerts all over the U.S., some parts of Mexico, Malmo and Stockholm, Sweden, and in Copenhagen, Denmark.

I would first like to say that I was born into a musical family. My Dad (choir director) and five older brothers were not only the majority of the choir in our large Catholic church, but Dad had a "tame" Frank Sinatra singing style. My mother played harmonica and piano by ear so acquiring musical intellects spread quickly to all of us. Most of my siblings sang and played instruments as we had a piano, guitar, organ, harmonica, trumpet, clarinet and a recorder to use as we pleased, with or without a music teacher.

I started singing and playing the piano at age four, started piano lessons at age six and self-taught myself guitar around 2nd or 3rd grade. Our family's music teacher told my parents, "She plays by ear, just let her go." Consequently, with consistent encouragement from my oldest sister (a professional organist for 40+ years), I learned piano and music theory while I was learning to read English. I learned the basics of voice while in choir from middle school...

I have been studying music in many forms for most of my life! I started taking piano lessons at the age of 8 and voice lessons at the age of 15. I attended Southeastern Louisiana University where I earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Perfomance in the studio of Scharmal Schrock. On the SLU stage I perfomed in serveral operas and musicals, including The Music Man (Marian), The Sound of Music (Maria), A Little Night Music (Charlotte) and Dido and Aeneas (Second Woman). With my classical training, I am able to adapt to many styles that interest me- including musical theatre, jazz, and pop.

After graduation I moved to New York City where I spent over 6 years working with various acting/singing coaches and studying with acclaimed voice teacher Judy Hages. I performed 2 off broadway cabarets at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre. I also performed in Pittsburgh's Flash Opera production of Dido and Aeneas (Second Woman/First Witch).

Anyone, amateur or professional, who has excelled at singing has had someone who worked with them to give them that extrra edge when they step up to the microphone.
I started teaching 25 years ago. I have attended and completed several summer singing schools where I studied vocal technique ,the breathing system, resonance, sight reading, pitch recognition and how to develop interpretive skills. I also studied the physics of sound as it pertains to the human voice.

I work most of the time with individuals, but have also worked with small groups such as trios and quartets as well as choirs and choruses.

I have had the opportunity to run clinics here in the U.S.A. and Canada, working with people as they prepare for special events such as recitals,concerts and even contests such as American Idol...

I teach my students how to understand how music is put together so they can learn even more on their own.

I read, write, and play all styles and I focus on teaching the student fundamentals that work in all styles of music ....AND I get them going on the style they are interested in - pop, rock, country, folk, etc.

I have spent my entire life in the music industry and I can show you how to use what I teach to apply to the real world. I have also been a successful songwriter and I can work with students to learn about song structure and song writing.

I am also good at preparing students for college music classes.

I started playing recognizable melodies on the piano at 18 months old. At that time I was told that I even had perfect pitch. By age 5, my mother started giving me classical, gospel, and improvisational lessons. I was one of her 50 students until my senior year in high school. Through elementary, junior high, and high school, I received a lot of performance experience from school marching/concert bands, choirs, church choirs, piano concerts, band/choral conducting, and composing.

I received my BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington; through college and to the present, I have received over 25 years of performing/directing experience from overseeing two mega-church music ministries. At these ministries, I served as the department head, responsible for lead piano, directing, arranging, worship leading, and departmental oversight.

Have you ever wondered if you could play the piano like the person you have heard of admired? The answer if Yes! As a private piano teacher for the past 20 years, I have had the pleasure of seeing students as young as 4 and as old as 70 enjoy seeing their talent become alive as we unlock what has been inside.
I began piano lessons at the age of six and continued for the next 14 years with private piano study. This gave me many levels of education about playing the piano, which I share with my 40 students each week. At the age of 13, I also began to realize that I could listen to a song, look at the chord and notes on the music, and put them together to make the song sound like it should. This was fantastic! I realized I could play by ear and read music, which is a strong focus of my teaching methods...to make sure a student is proficient in both areas.
