Subjects Taught

Accent Reduction, Acting, Audition Prep, Dialect Coaching, Film and TV Acting, Piano, Screenwriting, Singing, Theater Acting, Vocal Training

About Me

Since graduating in 2003 from The Juilliard School with a BFA in Drama, I've worked steadily as a professional actress, musician, teacher, and writer, based out of both New York City and Los Angeles. In May of this year, I relocated to Dallas, Texas to be near family, and am excited by the potential of the impressive local arts scene here.

I love teaching and consider each student a gift. Taking part in minds opening and skills developing; discovering how to connect with each individual; the moment when a student's eyes light up and say "Ohhh.. I get it... its like/when..." - these are remarkable experiences to share.

Okay, to be specific about what working with me looks like! Lessons will emphasize:
1. open, honest communication
2. curiosity
3. defining and working towards your specific goals (or, figuring it out along the way)
4. a playful, flexible approach

Lessons will be supported with careful preparation and clear notes/practice suggestions (which will be emailed to the student within 24 hours of our session).

I look forward to the prospect of working with you!

About Me

Owner of ActingCoachOnline.com, I have established myself as an accomplished actor and acting coach who has been teaching acting classes for over 10 years. As acting is an ongoing learning process, I audit the classes of the best coaches from NY to LA to bring those acting techniques to my students online on ActingCoachOnline.com as well as my in-studio classes for a fraction of the price. In addition to teaching online, I have taught in-studio classes at Kids International in Washington DC, Take 3 Talent and Product Management in NYC, and Page Parkes School of Acting in Dallas to name a few.

My approach to acting covers the entire theme of "Show Business". The "Show" is represented by the skill training techniques involved in my training to give an actor the skills to be the best actor. The "Business" aspect reflects the more technical side of acting such as what the auditors are looking for, how to stand out on the audition, and how to carry yourself as a professional to beget more work.

My training style involves tactile, audible, and visual aspects of training to ensure maximum absorption of the material. Meanwhile, I guarantee to make it fun!
