About Me
As a composer I have found it necessary never to stray too far from performance. The shear exhilaration one can obtain through playing an instrument is unique and powerful. I have devoted my life to trying to understand and master this elusive beast we call Music. As a child, of a peculiar spirit, I demanded my parents get me guitar and piano lessons. I felt an instant connection to these instruments and was compelled to investigate. After years of inquiry I ended up attending New School for the Arts, a high school devoted to the arts where I

Sandy G, Sandy G's Review
Although I haven't found a lot of time to try all the new ideas, I'm getting some pieces in the register, and I've figured out some minor and 7th chords by using two or three fingers.

Rachel V, Gauging the student
Scott is teaching my son guitar. He is 6. Scott has done an awesome job of gauging Hunter and when we started he had taken the information about music styles and we started there. After two lessons it seemed that Hunter just was not getting into that and maybe it was too complicated for him. Scott took a step back and went to absolute basics for Hunter. Showing him a scale and then giving him two children melodies that he is very familiar with to work on. This has certainly helped Hunter to learn and enjoy the guitar. Thank you Scott for your patience.
