About Me
My name is Erin, and I'm a professional brass instrumentalist and singer who has been gigging and teaching lessons in the metro area for more than ten years. If you're looking for affordable brass, music theory or voice lessons for yourself or your child and you want to avoid the hassle of driving to studios and waiting during the lesson, drop me a line! I provide expert level instruction in the comfort of your own home.
I was classically trained in music performance and pedagogy at Wayne State University, with focus on French horn performance and a secondary focus in classical singing. I am a current member of the horn section of the Lake St. Clair Symphony Orchestra.

I'm taking one-on-one voice lessons with Erin. She is very easy to work with. She is very focused on you and customizes each lesson by bringing written or CD practice exercises that help iron out your specific "kinks." In my case we work on my favorite songs which helps keep me engaged. I would recommend Erin without hesitation.

In just the few weeks of instructions with Erin, I have already improved upon many aspects of my vocal abilities. Even though I have been singing in choirs for many years, Erin has taught me so much more. I have learned to increase my volume while still maintaining proper breathing. Also, learning the scale and notes on the piano, I am now able to bring my notes in the proper key!! Besides Erin showing a very well educated and postive persona, she was an absolute joy to be with. We had a great deal of fun and shared many laughs. I wish her the best in her future teaching!
