Tom graduated from Tufts University in Boston with a B.A. in Music. During this time he studied and performed recitals in both classical and jazz guitar styles, composed original guitar music, and participated in jazz and classical music performance ensembles. After Tufts he continued his training in music education with courses at the Hartt School of Music and Central Connecticut State University.

With all of his students, regardless of age or ability, the emphasis is placed on technique, since it is the foundation for tackling increasingly challenging pieces of music. My name is Sean W. and I've been a multi instrumentalist for 23 years! I've performed opera as a soprano, Rock, funk, punk, metal, and Jazz on guitar, bass, and drum-kit. I find being able to accompany my students on other instruments to be an indispensable tool.
