Hello! My name is John, and i live, eat and breath music! I have performed all styles of music from rock, pop, folk, blues, jazz, classical and whatever else may be in between! Atop that, I am also a songwriter who's recorded several albums, both of my own songs and as a hired musician on other artist's recordings. I have a bachelors degree in music from Molloy College in Rockville Centre NY, and an associate's degree in music as well from Nassau Community College in Garden City NY.
Though my degrees and work in college was focused on classical guitar technique, I also possess a strong influence from and a passion for rock, pop and folk music. After seeing his first rock concert at age 14, Nick knew music had to be in his future. He picked up a friend’s guitar the next day for the first time, and after only three years applied for and received a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Nick has been performing in rock bands from high school and throughout college. He also has 4+ years of experience teaching students ranging from age 3 to 60+, and teaches guitar, vocals, and bass. Nick specializes in styles such as rock, blues, pop, classical, and flamenco.

I have been a voice teacher for over twenty- five years. My background includes ten years of classical training with Maestro Julio Berrocal as well as vocal technique through the Feldekrais approach with Marcy Lindhiemer. Music has been part of my life since the age of three. My first inspiration was my mother, who was a working singer in the 70's. My second inspiration and mentor was my High School Music Teacher, Mr. Wynn, and I am grateful for all he has taught me. I am passionate about teaching and would like to have the opportunity to be as inspirational to my students as Mr. Wynne was to me. As you can see from my resume below, I have been very active in performing and teaching. At the age of 37, I feel even stronger that the choice I made to make MUSIC my career was the absolute correct one. I believe in the Bible principle that it is better to give than to receive. Teaching is a major facet of music that allows me to do this.

I am an Oklahoma Native who loves music and loves to teach people to reach their potential. I studied Classical (operatic) voice for more than11 years, with Judith Haddon of the Metropolitan Opera, Chicago Musical Collage, Brenda Seward-Johnson, University of Central Oklahoma, and the late Marsha Henderson, University of Oklahoma. I was a student at the Oklahoma Arts Institute, 1997, 1998 Music major and Graduate of Classen School of Advanced Studies. I have been writing and singing gospel/inspirational music for about 18 years. I have performed in musicals, plays, recitals, and professional bookings from every genre of music. I currently serve as director for a youth performing arts camp where I have been a lead- instructor for the past 4 years.

Born in Rapid City, South Dakota, I started taking piano lessons at the age of 6. Since that time, my love for music has grown with each passing day.

I graduated from The Entertainment Career Connection with a certification in Audio Engineering and Production, where I studied audio mixing, recording, production and mastering. I currently study music education at Arapahoe Community College/Denver Metro.

I am very active in the community volunteering my time as the Event Coordinator for a non-profit orginization called The Denver Creative Movement. In addition, I keep myself busy musically playing in my band L.A.M.A. LIVE (Little Ambition Makes A lot), and working on a number of solo projects.

I continue to follow my life-long passion for music by educating others. I believe that music lessons should be a fun and rewarding experience, and place a high value on learning how to use music in everyday life.

Music became my life when I found a dusty guitar in the storage room at age 12. I owe a lot of really cool experiences to the guitar and so many of them center around learning. Teaching is fun and rewarding, but it is also my way of thanking the great teachers I've had.

Trent has over 15 years of experience polishing his music talents. While working towards his Bachelor's in Music, he also played in a touring band and still managed a 3.8 GPA from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Trent's musical talents have taken him touring all around the country.

Trent started teaching music right after college and has continued for three years. Trent has high expectations and is skilled in helping his students reach their goals. With a constant effort to maintain a fun learning environment and with a focus on reading skills and solid technique, Trent's students enjoy lessons packed with information and a good time. He teaches beginning through advanced bass, and beginning through intermediate guitar and drums.

We learn by teaching. That is why I love to teach, because I love to learn. I have made many great connections while teaching music to people and one of the ways to do that is to work together on a common goal. I started teaching music because during my own studies I have discovered many quick learning strategies that make playing music fun. Many of these strategies I had to discover on my own. Now I want to share these ideas with you.

Scott is a multi-instrumentalist loop master whose music spans a wide range of sounds and genres. With an education in music performance and a reputation for having a good time this laid back musician is no amateur to the music scene. Scott has performed hundreds of shows and numerous festival appearances, including 10,000 Lakes Festival, Wakarusa, Harvest Fest, Solstice Shakedown, Dogstock, Bela Luna, Camp Euforia, etc. Great stage presence and crowd interaction are a couple of things this guitarist is known for.

I am originally from Northeast Kansas, where I started playing guitar and studying music at the age of 9.

While studying guitar, I had several influential teachers, including internationally renowned finger-style guitarist, Andy McKee, and University of Montana Professor of Music and Classical Guitar, Dr. Luis Millan.

Later, in my teens, I also began playing the Banjo, Mandolin, accordion, and other various instruments.

While attending college at Washburn University in Topeka, KS, I began teaching private music lessons to students of all ages, and experience levels in Northeast Kansas. During this time, I also recorded and regularly performed with my bluegrass/country/cajun band.

I have experience playing and teaching numerous genres including rock, pop, country, blues, jazz, bluegrass, cajun/zydeco, reggae, classical, folk, etc.

I have been playing guitar for 25 years. I took formal guitar lessons for seven years, won numerous awards locally and nationally, and have been a professional musician for most of my life. I have studied music theory elaborately, and was accepted to both the Berklee School of Music in Boston, and the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. I decided to start on a musical career immediately, and did so in my hometown of Detroit. I play/teach, have written, performed, and recorded everything from indie rock, Jazz, classical guitar, Flamenco/modern latin guitar, and other traditional world music. I currently front my own indie rock project "The Static Dial", as guitarist/vocalist/songwriter.

I teach all styles of guitar, as I have been in many different types of music situations: Soloist (Classical) Ensemble (Classical and Jazz) Lead and Rhythm (Various Rock and Roll bands) Songwriting and Recording. I am a people person that learned the guitar from many different sources. Most of my learning came from watching others and communicating with others. I like to learn about the people I am teaching so that I can better understand their needs as a musician. My education came as a practical necessity in order to get better as a teacher and performer, as well as make a living doing it. But, by no means do I preach the need to be "educated" to be a working, practical musician. This can scare people off. I do however enlighten you into why it may be important to understand certain aspects of music as opposed to just "picking and grinning", IE learning only "By Ear."
