I am a very active individual, I love to learn and I love to teach. I am great and have experience with kids of all ages.
I believe it is important for kids to be outside and learn in an easy going environment. When children play sport they learn to be friendly, and are always healthier.
I also think that when children learn languages at an early age they are better prepared for the work force as well as more entailed to take better choices in life.

I have been a teacher for 8 years with experience teaching students from kindergarten to 8th grade. My most recent teaching position was teaching 7th and 8th grade math and Algebra. As a teacher, I am experienced in assessing students to find their areas of need and developing instructional programs to help them to improve their skills in order to perform at or above grade level. I am confident that I can be the support your child needs to succeed.

I have been tutoring since age 16 with families I have also babysat for. Last semester I studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina where I volunteered to tutor with an after school program in English and various other subjects (math, science, and history). These students did not speak any English and ranged from ages 8-18. This past semester I have also volunteered at the Albany Public Library to tutor all subjects to students ages 5-15. In addition to the 150 hours of volunteer tutoring I have done in this past year, I am always giving a helping hand to peers in my college classes and friends with homework in any way that I can.
I am more than confident that I will be a able to help students in my specified areas of education because of my skills, experience, and willingness to tutor. I have figured out creative and educational ways to effectively communicate homework subjects, language, and everyday life skills and activities. I am committed and responsible to teaching each person in a unique way, tailored to them.
