Subjects Taught Guitar, Piano, Music Theory
About Me
I grew up in a musical home and have been playing piano since the age of four. I have had all sorts of different music teachers in my life and I have always looked to them for inspiration for my own teaching--what would I do differently? What would I do the same?

Rita B, Piano Lessons
Hello,
I'm 66 years old and have found a Goldmine in my
teacher, Alexandra Zwart. Many, years ago I
attempted to learn the piano and was completely at a loss. My instructor thought I was preparing for Carnegie Hall and talked this musical 'foreign' language to me. Needless to say, I quit. That wasn't what I wanted.Alexandra is in tune to what I need to learn the Piano. I'm quite pleased with her style of teaching and her patience. Need I say again. . . I'm 66 years old! Thank you Alexandra for patience and thoughtfulness in making the piano easier to learn.

Elkie Z, Elkie Z's Review
We love Ali! She has been keeping our son highly motivated and goes the extra mile to adapt to his specific personality. She clearly puts in effort and gives much thought before every lesson.
