I've been teaching dance for over 9 years, with a forte in tap! I have been trained in a lot of different types - Tap (of course), Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Poms, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, and a little musical theater.
Technique is something that is important in every type of dance style. Each class will have warm up, and technique, with some style. I try to reach out to anyone I teach, learning more about you as a student and person as we work together to help you learn the best you can.
Hello! I'm Megan McCabe and I am 22 years old.
I started being a teacher's assistant during dance classes when I was about 10 years old, for the 3 year old classes. When I turned 14, I started substituting classes at my studio and by the time I graduated had a few classes of my own! My forte was always, of course, Tap dancing, but I have been trained in Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Poms, Contemporary, and Modern.
I went to college originally to become an English teacher, but later decided to work in Early Childhood. I went to school for a few years for it, and I currently work as an infant teacher at a center. It's a very rewarding job!
I have many creative talents; as well - I sew, create jewelry, make wreathes, and know some great scrapbooking and cake ...
If you're interested in Eastern dance, Arabic dance, folk dance of Central Asia, then you're in the right place. I have over eight years if experience.

Helen Manzella is an improvisational dance artist who recently graduated with her Self-Designed degree in Dance & Healing Performance Art from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. During her time in the city, Helen taught private lessons and group classes in which she blended her unique approach to dance as both a tool to heal, as well as a way to constantly invoke and rediscover newly-imagined forms. Helen has a strong classical dance background, however, she is most passionate about teaching her own blend of improvised, creative and original dance. Helen currently teaches dance/choreography at Rocky Mountain Theater for Kids; a children's theater and performing arts school in Boulder, CO.
