I have played and taught French horn professionally for the past seven years. Currently, I am working on my doctorate at UMD. I have played many concerts around the world, and I have won countless scholarships and competitions. My teaching is positive and tailored to each student's learning style.

About Erika

Since I was in sixth grade, the french horn has dictated my life. It has taken me to three continents, earned me a full scholarship to a Top Ten Dream School (USC), and taught me many valuable skills that extend beyond music making. I absolutely love teaching and passing along the information that has made me successful.

Graham K. College Park, MD

As a band director, I have taught private lessons on all major wind and brass instruments. I can get you started, and get you to an intermediate playing ability, as well as providing relevant music theory information.

About Graham

I earned a Bachelors in Music Education as a percussionist in 2006 at Mansfield University. I took lessons for 8 semesters with three different teachers, so I have various teaching styles I can choose from. Also, as a music ed major I took classes on flute, clarinet, sax, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, french horn, trombone, baritone, tuba, strings, and multiple piano classes.

I then went on to be a band director for 6 years. During that time I was able to give my students private and group lessons on their instruments. In addition, I had a couple private students on guitar, drums, and piano.

I left the classroom to pursue a Masters Degree in Instrumental Conducting at Mansfield University. I played in the marching band, wind ensemble, and orchestra while working on my masters ...

Theresa D. Rosedale, MD

The French Horn is another instrument that schools will give scholarships. If you are looking to stand out from the crowd, then this is the instrument to learn. If you currently play another brass instrument, this can be an easy switch for you.

About Theresa

I am a former instrumental music teacher in the Catholic school system. I have been teaching in some way, shape or form for the past 18 years. For those students interested in any of my crafting lessons, I have been making crafts since I was too young to remember. My methods of teaching vary depending on the student and what they need to succeed. Please let me know if you have issues with animals, I can put them in another part of the house. I have both cats and a dog.
