I am a recent graduate of the University of South Florida, where I have completed both my Master's and Bachelor's Degrees in Vocal Performance. During my time as an undergraduate at USF, I also was a tutor for music theory and aural theory, working one-on-one with students to help them succeed in their courses. As a graduate student, I was the graduate assistant in music theory. I assisted all levels of undergraduate theory.

Through my studies at USF, I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in classical music, vocal techniques and languages. Nicole began her musical journey in Long Island, New York when she began piano lessons at age five. While receiving training on piano, she joined her elementary school orchestra in the 3rd grade and quickly soared with violin. During this period, Nicole began learning music theory and the art of reading music. As a fourth grader, Nicole would go on to conduct and tune every instrument in her orchestra during rehearsal. She always competed and won many NYSMA competitions for violin while attending music seminars and workshops. It was then that her teacher realized she had a gift. Nicole continued with piano lessons and began teaching herself guitar. Later, after college, she bought herself a drum set and began to teach herself drums.

I have been involved in music since I was a young child. I have a passion for teaching and serving others through the gift of music. I am currently attending Clearwater Christian College finishing a degree with a double proficiency in Piano Performance and Composition. I have completed secondaries in voice and brass techniques. I teach students from beginners to advanced.

I began my music education in 1993 with private piano lessons. A year later, I joined the instrumental program in my community playing the clarinet and by 8th grade I had fully realized my passion for music and have been playing and singing ever since! In 2002 I was accepted to the prestigious Berklee College of Music for classical piano which culminated into a Bachelors degree in Music Education. My professional career started when I accepted a position to provide private music lessons to home schooled children all across CT. During that time I taught everything from piano and voice to alto saxophone and baritone horn. My next career move brought her to the public schools in urban Bridgeport, CT. My music studio has been serving music students in the Sarasota area since 1991. I offer private voice, piano and music theory lessons for students of all ages. Currently my studio includes students from 5 to 74 years of age! And in my 30 years of teaching all of my students have shown improvement in skills and enjoyment.

I myself began singing in church when I was three years old and began piano lessons at age five. I began teaching piano lessons when I was sixteen.

Music and teaching are my passions. Both of my parents were teachers. Beginning in my middle school years, my parents invited me to their classrooms to teach music lessons. When I was in high school sometimes the choir director would ask me to lead rehearsals and I did the same in college.
