Cameron is a musician, teacher, and worship leader. He recently moved from Anaheim, CA 9 years ago to achieve a Bachelors Degree in Commercial Music at Belmont University and now resides in Nashville, TN.
Since 2004 I have gigged, recorded, and wrote/ co-wrote music in Nashville, TN. When I graduated in 2008 I went on the road for a couple years with an artist named Dave Hunt when I returned from the road I wasn't quite sure what to do next. I decided that I might enjoy teaching so for the last 4 years I have started small and built up my student base to around 30-35 students a week. I also teach high school music history and music theory at a home school tutorial and enrichment school in town. I simply use the college curriculum that I received and fine tune it for students from all levels of playing (basically like getting a college music lesson for much cheaper!)
"I have a passion and love for finding the best way to teach a new musical idea/technique/song, I am bold and will use the best way to teach you, based on your learning style."

Since beginning his teaching career in 1974 David has taught 7000 people how to play guitar! Some aspiring only to play at home for fun and others to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
David F. has also taught advanced guitar and music theory to several professional musicians who already play other instruments fluently including Oscar nominee Scott Rogness, who co-wrote and performed the songs featured in the movie That Thing You Do. Scott had this to say about his study with David:
"I studied with David for about 8 months. Although proficient on keyboards, a singer and songwriter; I had never learned the guitar. I knew a lot about the guitar by osmosis, but technically was green. David let me look at the guitar in a whole new way, using infinite variations on basic chords, showed me how to move and follow vocal melodies and challenged me to SEE what I was playing. All at the speed of thought."
David F. plays a custom built guitar with Bartoline electronics made by Jay Rhyne in Atlanta, GA. For live performances, David uses a Roland Guitar Synth and an Apple PowerBook with Logic audio for mixing his arsenal of software synthesizers and samplers, as well as Guitar Rig for guitar effects processing. When in Nashville contact David F. for private guitar lessons.
I am always looking for the band that will allow me to express myself, my influences include Hendrix, Page, Dimeola, Weather Report, Chick Corea, Emerson Lake and Palmer, and many others.
I read music and charts, and between practicing, teaching, playing, and recording, I have spent 80+ hours a week for the past 34 years with a guitar. I like to soar in the wind when I am playing."

I am a music lover, educator, and songwriter. I have been playing music since I was very young and it has consistently brought joy into my life. I have been teaching since 2007, specifically to share the joy i find in music. I teach because I think everyone is capable of making great music, and I want to help you figure out how.
I grew up in California and have toured extensively throughout the western US. I graduated from Berklee College of Music where I earned my degree in Guitar Performance in 3 years. Since then I've been teaching, writing, and playing non stop.

Hello! I believe that music is something everyone can do: it can be played alone or in pairs (and trios, quartets, etc). Playing music is extremely rewarding. It's about discovering your potential, and having fun doing it! Having played music for 25 years, and teaching for 12, I have experience as a performer, composer, and producer. I grew up playing cello before switching to guitar, and graduated from New England Conservatory of Music with a BA in jazz performance. Most recently, I moved to Nashville where I am currently training to be a Registered Piano Technician.

I am a Nashville session musician, sideman and music teacher. I received a Bachelor of Music degree in Commercial Music with a Composition and Arranging Emphasis from Belmont University and I am currently pursuing a Masters in Music at MTSU. Coming from a family of Classical and Jazz musicians, I have been exposed to music my whole life. Over the years I have had the opportunity to play and record with many great bands and artists ranging from Country/Bluegrass to Rock to Jazz. I teach all genres of guitar, bass, banjo ukulele and mandolin.
Basic Math, Bass Guitar, Elementary Math, Guitar, Spelling, Music Performance, Music Theory, Reading
I learned to play the Guitar from watching my Mom play, watching her fingers on one hand change chords while the other hand strummed the strings. I taught myself to play 35 years ago and began playing professionally 3 years later. I began teaching Guitar and Bass Guitar in 1993 at a local music store in my hometown on the Central Coast of California. In 2002 I opened my own teaching studio and worked there for the next 11 years before closing it and relocating to Nashville, Tennessee.
Over the years I have taught literally hundreds of students, and along the way, I learned a lot about the art of teaching Guitar.
My greatest strength as a teacher is my patience, followed closely by knowing how to quickly recognize a students challenge with learning a particular skill, and how to help the student overcome that challenge. I also tell my students that I have never forgotten what it was like to teach myself the Guitar, therefore I understand that it takes time and effort to reach their goals. I can teach you to read notated music, strum chords and sing songs, finger picking, or to play your favorite riff from a popular Rock Song. Whatever it is that draws you to playing the Guitar, I want to know what that is, and I will help you get there!
I began playing professionally as a teenager, playing the Bass Guitar in a local Country band, and over the years I've enjoyed playing Rock, Jazz, Pop, and Blues as well. For students that are interested in a career as a professional musician, I can offer a lot of advice on what will be required of you, from the technical (Electric Guitars, Amplifiers, Microphones, etc.) to the personal requirements (Preparedness, Cooperation, and showing up on time!) If you choose me as your Teacher, you may ask me any question you may have on your mind and I promise to always have an answer for you.
As for my other services, I offer academic tutoring for young students needing help with understanding Basic Math, Reading and Spelling. Again, I am able to remember my own experience when I was a young student and trying to understand how to learn Math, Reading and Spelling, and I can help young students in these areas of study.
"Steven is very professional and extremely helpful. He always has a smile on and is serious about helping you phrase the music. I would highly recommend him to anyone."
"It's been really exciting so far! Jordan has been so helpful, so knowledgeable. I could not have found a better instructor and I'm getting better and better every day."
"My daughter's wedding was weeks away and I had never been able to dance a step. With Jenny's help, I came further than ever before in such short time in any subject."
