I teach beginner and intermediate sewing on and off the machine. I teach how to use your machine, pattern making, pattern creating, repair, alterations, and upcycling clothing.
I have been teaching art and crochet for over 15 years. Now i am teaching sewing. I have been sewing my own clothes for over 25 years. I can teach the basics or each, including pattern reading, and even pattern making. I can also teach intermediate in all, and advanced in crochet. I teach to both kids and adults. I have my eon after school art program in 6 schools in Dekalb county and Atlanta City schools. I teach at my home if orris ate lessons. -Wind thread on a bobbin
-Sew a straight, curved and pivot corners for squares or zigzags

I've been teaching private lessons since 2012 and have loved helping my students understand the basics of sewing, explore their inner designer and overall become more confident with sewing. I went to Spelman College and earned a degree in Mathematics in 2006 but I currently attending the Savannah College of Art and Design to earn a degree in Fashion Design. I'm a nurturing and fun person and my teaching style is student centered, facilitated to meet the level of the student, and slow paced. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
