Great start with lots of good tips! Looking forward to more classes.

Very good experience on our first lesson. Brendon worked with our 7-year-old son and was patient with the online setup. He did make us aware that having online lessons with someone that young presents a bigger challenge but with our help, we are going to make it work (my wife and I are musically-trained).

Proper technique transfers to all styles of music. Some of my students sing with their guitar and in bands, some work purely on gospel, some on classical. I tailor lessons to you, to work on your passion and show you how proper technique improves your singer no matter what style you perform.

Jen has done a great job with our 8 year old. She keeps her challenged and is continually increasing her skill set. I was most impressed that Jen had her learning both hands right from lesson 1. She's learning quickly and most importantly she's enjoying it.

Lola is a professional at what she does. From the moment I walked into my first lesson, I could tell she was very knowledgeable about music. Beyond music, she is a very kind and welcoming woman who is patient and understanding. She talks with you and really cares about what you're saying. She is a great teacher for anyone of all levels of experience in music and I recommend her for everyone.

I have been playing the saxophone for about 17 years now, starting from when I was in 5th grade. I have gotten to play throughout middle and high school, as well as college. I've played alto, tenor, and bari sax, but I prefer to teach alto saxophone. Music, and the saxophone specifically, is a great passion of mine, and I would like to help instill that passion in others. Although I am new to teaching, I have a deep understanding of how a saxophone works and how to teach musical understanding.

About Shane

I'm passionate about music and about sharing my knowledge with others. Everyone can benefit from music and learning an instrument. Specifically, the saxophone is easy to begin learning, and can be very technical at advanced levels. I am still learning new things almost every time I play.

Do you LOVE to sing? Do you struggle with some parts of it, like finding your unique voice? Learn to improve your vocal range, your confidence and your enjoyment in sharing your music.

I've worked with all kinds of students and their personal goals. My syllabus covers 50 lessons with quizzes and a vast array of theory, workable exercises and the tools to open your own natural talent as well as improve challenges.

I've taught for over 25 years and had experiences all over Europe and in the Sacramento Choral Society, the Boston Pops and the Sacramento Ballet as well as performances at Carnegie Hall and countless other engagements. I have a dozen CD's with choirs I've been associated with, which only means that I've had the privilege of working with many wonderful conductors and learned at their hands.

My philosophy, is that anyone can learn to sing and enjoy doing so. It does take some dedication, a lot of excitement, sometimes some length of time to retrain your ...

Sylvia is very good at taking the time to explain the reasons behind the why of doing certain things. Being an adult with no musical background what so ever she has really taken the time to teach me some basic fundamentals that are helping me build the solid foundation that I so very much want and need. Beyond the time we spend with one-on-one instructions she challenges me with exercises to practice on between our meetings. I explained to Sylvia what I was looking for and she has centered the training and instructions around that to ensure that my goals are being met. She is a pleasure to work with and learn from.

Sylvia is a great teacher. She is patient and firm and our kids learned quickly with her technique.

"My 5-year-old daughter has visual disabilities and can’t really read music scores or see properly the positioning of the piano keys. Understanding my daughter’s condition, Naomi self-made a manuscript book specially for my daughter so that she's able to read music (as I would still like her to learn how to read music scores). She constantly checks with us on her learning progress at home, if there is any difficulty we face while practicing, and constantly comes up with new ways to keep my daughter’s interests going. She is patient and fun-loving, we absolutely recommend her to anyone who would like to learn how to find joy in music making! -Susan Knutson"
