Michael is a stickler for doing things right, but in a nice way. I feel that his mode of teaching is best, because it builds a solid foundation for further learning.

After a brief intro, Mike explained where're going with his lessons. I was having some problems getting my fingers near certain fret areas he wanted me to work on, so he very kindly placed some colors tape where I'm to put my fingers. That helped a lot. Been practicing an hour per day, & I'm getting a bit better daily. I've got a long way to go, but with Mike's help I'll get there. ELLIOT

Gabriel is an amazing music teacher not only is he helping me with bass guitar but also understanding a bit of music theory. He shows me ways to to help maximize the amount of learning I can get out of practicing. Overall he is a great teacher with knowledge of a multitude of instruments and music in general.

I have been teaching piano and flute for 16 years and am a classically trained musician. I incorporate fun activities for my younger students to stay engaged and my older students learn the skills to excel for the instrument while relaxing after a long day of work or family responsibilities. Lessons are customized and catered to the needs/goals of each student. Not only will you be playing songs in no time, but you will be building a strong foundation of note reading, music theory, ear training, sight reading, technique, and more. Let's get started!

My daughter is very happy with Sarah! Would highly recommend her.
Jon
Sarah is an excellent teacher! I started taking lessons with her a few years ago and she was very gracious with me as I struggled learning. She's helped me so much. I've come a long way from struggling with Hot Cross Buns to playing full chord progressions and being able to hear songs and play chords that correspond with the music.

Not only does she do a great job of teaching the technical basics, she also includes a great amount of music theory in the process which is super helpful!

First class was a success! Sara was polite, professional, very knowledgable and friendly. Her studio is beautiful! I look forward to my next lesson.

I have been teaching middle school social studies professionally for about a year. However, I have tutored middle school and high school students in Social Studies for about 5 years. I have a bachelor's degree in Broadfield Social Studies and Secondary Education. I have a teacher license and I am certified to teach grades 6-12. My concentrations are in history, political science, and psychology. I believe that every student is unique and must have an educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. I want to create an atmosphere where students can meet their full potential and provide a safe and caring environment where students can share their thoughts and ideas. I believe that the teacher’s role is to act as a guide, mentor, and leader. Students should be able to have access to hands-on activities and have the opportunity to practice their skills in a safe environment.

About Brent

I graduated from Cardinal Stritch University with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and Broadfield Social Studies. I am certified to teach grades 6-12. I am trained in Russian technique using relaxation movements that prevent painful cramps in wrist and forearm. I have been teaching primarily children from age 4 in music schools and homes since 1987. I like to motivate them by letting them choose their favorites, like songs from Disney movies or some other popular songs. I am very patient and encouraging. I am happy when I see love for music growing in hearts of students.

About Katarina

I attended six years at State Conservatory and graduated with Magister degree from Comenius University in former Czechoslovakia. I performed during my college years with a chamber vocal-instrumental ensemble. I started teaching piano and music theory in 1987 at a music school and later I was giving

Ms. Lalinska has been a great teacher! I'm pretty new to piano and she's been nothing but patient throughout our lessons. I've found that after learning some basic music theory on chords I'm all the more interested in improving. She has also been flexible in scheduling, which is particularly important due to my shifting schedule. Highly recommend!

Katarina has been a fantastic teacher, helping me get to learn the basics of piano while teaching me how to play with a relaxed technique to preserve my hands and forearms -- I work on a computer all day so I will sometimes get cramped hands.
Jessica
Katarina is very knowledgeable about piano and theory, having studied and taught for many years. She uses the Russian technique and teaches excellent technical skill. She is patient and fair, and above all, a wonderful teacher!!

Sewing at Home: 3 Easy Sewing Projects for Children

The energy that my first time sewing students bring to the very first class is wonderful. They are so excited about the creative possibilities that learning to sew will bring them. Often this excitement is tempered by the fear of using a sewing machine. I start by encouraging them to do some easy sewing projects for children, so they can get comfortable with using a sewing machine. It is also a great way to learn some very basic sewing skills. The following projects are quite simple, quick and u …
