I've been acting since I was a child, and in Los Angeles for over 10 years. I'm an award-winning actor and director with a true passion for storytelling. I've been in films on Amazon Prime (Something, House of Manson) on Television on the Lifetime Network (My Crazy Ex), and in many Theatre shows (Proof, Down the Road, Savage Love).

I have a BA in Acting from The Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University, am a graduate of the two-year Meisner program at DBA studio, and have studied Audition Technique, Stanislavski, Scene Study, Improv, Perfecting Self-Tapes, and in a Master Class for years. As a filmmaker who cast, wrote, and directed the short film 'There's No Word for Us', I also have experience on the other side of the table and bring that unique point of view to coaching.

**To avoid confusion. In July 2023 my professional name with the union SAG-AFTRA changed from Jane, to Patty, which is why older reviews refer to Jane (my middle name) :)

In this class, we will cover the Emotional Preparation technique of Emotional Recall, which uses your own life experiences to connect to a character and/or the material. Students will be brought through an emotional recall exercise, and then asked to perform a short monologue that will be provided for them. Students will not be expected to be off-book, they will however need to allow themselves to be vulnerable. Look out for the next Emotional Prep classes, which will cover different techniques that actors use to connect to their material in a real and meaningful way.

Jane is an excellent coach, she assisted me with building confidence and analyzing scripts to deliver better performances.

Jane is not only an outstanding coach and guide, but she is also just an amazing human being. She is so down to earth and caring about your success. She isn't going to sit there and tell you how wonderful you and build your ego. Jane is well versed in the acting craft. She is trained in many different styles and techniques which is great because your not only getting one approach. Jane is funny, patient and truly loves the craft. Might I add she is a great actor herself!

Jane really knows her stuff! She has helped me immensely with up-leveling my auditions. She’s super creative, is full of ideas, and is so much fun to work with.
