It is so important to learn from a real professional. I am international soloist and pedagogue, having studied with the world's greatest teachers, Ivan Galamian, Dorothy DeLay, Josef Gingold, etc. international violin competitions winner. It is very easy to get faulty instruction at any stage of the development. Mine is of the highest of quality. I can teach from beginner to the most advanced. Have been teaching for 40+ years.

About Chin

Highly recommended! The most insightful and kind teacher. I had learned so much from him and dramatically improved every aspect of my violin playing. I was very fortunate to have learned from him.

I was a student for over six years of Dr Chin Kim, from pre-college into my undergraduate studies. His encyclopedic knowledge of violin technique, repertoire, and history of the craft is unparalleled and still enamors me to this day. He is a masterful pedagogue who can offer students of the violin at all levels-even full professionals-access to unprecedented knowledge and understanding. I have since risen to be one of those professional products of Dr Kim’s teaching myself, with a graduate degree from the Shepherd School of Music followed by a tenure in the concertmaster pool at The Orchestra Now from 2016-2019-and I attribute much of this success to the knowledge and attention given by Dr Kim.

Dr. Kim helped me build the foundation to my violin playing. As a young learner at 8 years old, he shaped my technique and provided me with the guidance that helped me become the violinist I am today. I studied with Dr. Kim for 10 years up until I went to college, where I am earning a degree in music. I can attribute this privilege to Dr. Kim for pushing me to grow and for teaching me so much during my early years.

I've taken lessons from a number of double bass teachers. I've never found an instructor who gave me exactly what I needed until Geoff. He's the consummate professional double bass player and teacher. Geoff is intelligent, courteous, patient, humorous and above all knowledgeable. So, if you're a serious upright bass student, I would, without hesitation, recommend Geoff Bowater.

I specialize in Broadway/Musical Theater styles so I can help with mix/belting, a style growing increasing popular in the business today, but I was also trained classically for 7 years and have plenty of knowledge to share. I spent 2 years at the Hartt School of music, and now Im currently pursing my career as a singer/actress. I can help prepare for auditions, callbacks, sight-reading, college, or we can just sing and have fun while strengthening your instrument!

Sweet, sweet Ableton. How I love you. You seem to be have become an extension of my musical brain. Having used a few DAWs over the years (I was mainly a Cubase guy) I finally got the chance to create on Ableton. Much to my elation, this was through a lifelong friend and Ableton wizard Aaron Lager of MSH TH CNTRLR. We began collaborating with him showing me his many tricks. We have since started our own project and I have logged beyond countless hours behind the Launchpad and Push. Session view is the main difference between Ableton and other DAWs. I will teach you from the basics of production up through using Ableton in live performance. Prepare for a life-changing musical experience!

"Mr Brandon is a rare find as a music teacher. His passion for music and love of teaching are visible with every teaching session. His focus is first and foremost on the student, recognizing unique abilities and areas of challenge.

He is a skilled "growth mindset" instructor, his focus remains on continued progression and tackling difficulties as opportunities. He invests heavily in the relationship with the student allowing them to grow and explore in a supportive environment.

Our son has ADHD and has struggled with in some learning environments. I have been absolutely impressed with Mr Brandon's ability to adapt and create a positive music lesson even if he was having a "not very focused " day !

Music is a wonderful gift, especially for children with ADD/ADHD or other learning challenges, especially with a skilled teacher !"
