I have been teaching and coaching acting students for almost ten years. I am also a working actor myself and graduate of The Juilliard School. My students have gone to some of the top conservatory programs and have booked Broadway shows, Television, Commercials. After working with me, whether it be on an audition or monologue, you will start to learn the skills that will take you to the next step. I am very interested in preparing students for their college auditions!

Andrea is amazing! She is my first choice anytime I have an audition. You will walk into your audition ready, and focused on the work. Love her!!

Andrea is one of the finest actors and acting coaches I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. She has this amazing ability to get people from ‘acting’ to ‘being.’ She has elicited some of my most breakthrough acting moments with her incredible presence, razor sharp specificity, and in depth script analysis.
Reece
Andrea is essential in my process: either that be an audition or in preparing a role. Her guidance has been instrumental in helping me develop a strong point of view in my work when I’ve felt lost. Her experience gives her the expert language to discuss what doesn’t work to tell a story while bringing the best out of the actor. She is a gem. I am lucky to have her as coach.

Stella Adler, Stanislavsky, Chekhov, and Meisner Acting Technique for Theatre/Camera is taught in private and group classes. All students are exposed to each technique and Rachel sees which technique each student responds to the most. Once the student and Rachel are able to identify the technique, Rachel continues to use the terminology of that technique for the remainder of the time the student is in lessons. Students eventually are able to play roles truthfully and realistically, even if the roles are opposite of the student's own personality.

About Rachel

Rachel is fully background checked by three different companies and is also fingerprinted. Rachel's private studio is where you not only learn healthy technique, but how to become a self-sufficient artist. Professional training and customized programs in singing and acting technique. All learnin

My 9 yr. old daughter received singing lessons with Rachel. Rachel was SO wonderful, patient, and creative with every session with her. She was constantly coming up with different ways to keep her engaged and was always reassuring her to increase her confidence. She gave great constructive feedback on how my daughter was doing and what she can work on to improve. I give her 5 stars! Thanks so much, Rachel!
Steve
Overall, very impressed. She is direct and doesn't tell you something you want to hear. Her evaluation process is well rounded and planned. She puts together a great curriculum to know what to expect in the coming lessons. Very easy going person and makes you feel completely comfortable at the initial lessons.

I use a variety of acting techniques and philosophies to help guide actors into discovering what lives beyond the page. We dive deep into the characters and situations to find truth, needs, and wants that bring a depth of life to the performance.

Rachel is a great teacher who really knows her stuff and wants to help her student. Her lessons are always thought out and her critique is always on point. She allows for enough creative freedom to be able to give you notes afterwards that enable you to build on them because she wants you to achieve your potential. She really cares and will help you wherever she can whether its for an upcoming audition or polishing your resume. I highly recommend her teaching.
Janice
Rachel is an amazing teacher! She helped me with a self tape and was so amazing! She not only coached me on the acting of the scene, but also in how to make sure the technical side of the self tape was as effective as possible. I highly recommend her!
Ken
Rachel has an incredible understanding of the foundations of piano, and is really patient and kind. I went into this with very little piano experience (think Chopsticks!), and she helped me find a really sustainable path to learn and grow. Her lessons and exercises have been so helpful! I’ve always wanted to learn how to play piano, and now I am!

Highly recommended! Thank you, Rachel!!

Shirley is amazing! She walked me through the audition process step by step. I knew what to expect, and how to conduct myself in the audition. Mostly though she was encouraging of me and my talent after our lesson I felt so empowered to keep going, and I got the job.

"I've been taking classes with Mia for a year now, and she has been the best teacher anyone could ever dream of. I was terrified of trying acting for the first time, I thought because I was starting off late in the game I may be judged, or criticized, but as soon as Mia greeted me she made me feel as though I was immediately family. She is supportive, encouraging, and will give 110% at training you for any type of acting you wish to pursue! She even met with me for multiple classes per week before big auditions. I can proudly say I am now accepted and will be attending my first choice conservatory for a BFA in Contemporary Theater! Mia has the warmest, most beautiful heart of gold that I've ever seen. Thank you for absolutely everything you've done for me, Mia. I can't wait until you can see me in my shows!"

"I don't know about you (yes you, the one reading this), but I've been secretly wanting to act my whole life and am a full of life personality with hidden insecurities. Even though I have never really acted professionally, I have been theatrical and playing all sorts of characters, speaking in accents and dancing to everything in front of the mirror, in comfortable social gatherings and have even put on shows for my pets and husband! Last time I acted "professionally" was in a high school play. And even then, I mostly helped make the props!

I tell you this, because, with that kind of a background, nervous and yet SO excited to JUST TRY, I chose Christian as my teacher- my professor of Acting!

I am 3 classes in and Christian is very supportive, non-judgemental and extremely easy to learn with. I am impressed with his skills, his ability to immediately decipher something I'm trying to explain, and then how easy he makes it for me to put his constructive feedback into practice. The practice is not easy... because that stuff always takes hard work, but he explains it all so easily so I can start practicing and exploring the acting world. He is honest about the acting world, the people in it and the various steps it takes to get to wherever you are trying to get! So be honest with yourself and let this be an authentic and fun experience! Plus, it's so nice to talk to someone that actually gets what it's like to be dreaming!

Thanks Christian!"
