Hello. I was born in Korea and was raised there for more than 18 years. My first language is Korean, and I have been teaching students from take lessons and another academy. I can teach you from beginner level, and you will be able to see the improvement in speaking, writing, listening, and reading skills in Korean. If you are interested in focusing on only one skill or vice versa, we are always available to adjust our lessons according to our discussion. I know that learning another language is not easy. We will go through step by step, and you will feel more comfortable in opening your eyes to the language.

Seonjung (Hailey) is an amazing drawing teacher! I went to her with little experience and she has been able to break the drawing process down in a very clear and patient way. She makes your progress such a priority & my skills have definitely improved over the past months. It is truly wonderful learning with her!

I have taught English to Koreans back in Seoul for more than 8 years, so I know exactly how different these two languages are.

Based on this understanding of how I need to approach non-Korean speaker especially whose mother tongue is English, I am confident that I can let you start studying Korean the easiest way and make the class fun with lots of introduction of Korean cultures and history.

About Suyoun

Hello! My name is Sue and I've been teaching English to Koreans, Koreans to English speakers since 2007. From this long experience, I learned how different and opposite these 2 languages are, so I can teach my student how to learn this beautiful Korean language the most efficient way and fun.

πŸ“’ CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING, AND NO SHOWS
If you need to reschedule or cancel a lesson, I need to be notified 24 hours in advance. If you ask to change after this 24-hour period I will have to charge you the full price of the lesson. This same rule applies if you are over 15 minutes late and you have not contacted me beforehand. I adjust my life and schedule around these lessons, so please understand why I need to be strict about this type of situation.

➫ Over the course of 7 years, I have taught English at a cram school, secondary school, and one-to-one tutor sessions in Korea. During my graduate school, I was a teaching assistant for colleges. I checked the college students’ homework and gave them feedback. I am very familiar with online learning technology and homework review.

➫ ABOUT LESSONS
My lessons are basically in Korean. So, I will try to speak Korean as much as possible. But, I still teach in English. My lesson plans are very βœͺ personalized. I teach ages 15 and up.

This was my very first session and it was great. We jumped right into work after we talked about my starting level. She was very patient and very easy to talk with. I loved the fact that she broke down the sounds to me from how the tone should sound to how my face should move for certain vowels and consonants. I can't wait until second session.

She is wonderful! Firm but fair. And very helpful with materials. I’m learning so much so fast and want even more. HIGH HIGH HIGH recommend if you want to learn Korean.

μ•ˆλ…•ν•˜μ„Έμš” μ—¬λŸ¬λΆ„!
Hello, all!

This is Julia, a certified Korean tutor. I am a native Korean speaker and I also was a Korean language teacher at a Korean-American language school in the U.S.

μ œκ°€ μ—¬λŸ¬λΆ„μ—κ²Œ 3가지 질문이 μžˆμŠ΅λ‹ˆλ‹€.
I have three questions for you.

1. ν•œκ΅μ–΄ μ•ŒνŒŒλ²³μ„ λΉ λ₯Έ μ‹œκ°„λ‚΄μ— μˆ™λ‹¬ν•˜κ³  μ‹ΆμœΌμ„Έμš”?
Do you want to master the Korean alphabet quickly?

2. 그럼 ν˜Ήμ‹œ 자음, λͺ¨μŒ, λ‚±μž, 문법 λ“± μ–΄λ €μš΄ μš©μ–΄λ₯Ό μ•”κΈ°ν•˜μ„Έμš”?
Then, do you memorize terminology words such as consonants, vowels, and grammar?

3. 이미 ν•œκ΅μ–΄ 곡뢀λ₯Ό μ‹œμž‘ν–ˆμœΌλ©΄, μ“°κΈ°λ‚˜ 읽기, λ§ν•˜κΈ°μ™€ λ“£κΈ°λ₯Ό λ”°λ‘œ ν•˜μ„Έμš”?
If you have already started studying Korean, do you write or read, speak and listen separately?

The answer above is that if you get the right teaching method and learning materials, you can realize it.

Oh, wait! One last thing, but not the least is to enjoy your mistakes to improve your Korean language skills! :)

I hope I work with you soon.

* Please do not hesitate to ask me if you have any question or if you want a lesson schedule for different times and days.
