For 43 years, since 1975, I have pioneered the use of Gestalt Techniques of awareness training, dream work and work on personal relationships as a tool to supplement traditional methods of teaching performers: actors, singers, dancers. this approach interlocks especially well with the Michael Chekhov and Brechtian styles of performing.

As a performer you cannot express well actions which you cannot deal with in your own life, so filling these holes in your own functioning is half the job of releasing your artistic creativity. In this way you do not need to resort to cliches and gimmicks to fool your audience. all of you is there for real, authentic. Your search for truth is also your goal as an artist.

About Franklyn

I am a med school dropout who decided one day not to keep fighting his creativity demon. Next came 6 years of Musical Theater training at Julliard (2 years), Columbia (2years, ma degree), Indiana school of music (2 years), and one year of social work training at Pittsburgh, 1970-1980 I spent 10 yea

She was constantly coming up with different ways to keep her engaged and was always reassuring her to increase her confidence. She gave great constructive feedback on how my daughter was doing and what she can work on to improve. I give her 5 stars! Thanks so much, Rachel!

Caring, Observant, and always supportive. Morgan is possessed with an incredible desire to draw out an actor's best instincts while also offering them new ways of approaching text when an actor might be stuck. My experiences with her are both highly productive and easy going.

Unlike many acting coaches Morgan actually knows what she’s doing. She brings great energy and can figure out what a monologue/scene needs to bring it to the next level. After being burned by so many acting coaches in my life I’m so relieved to have found someone like Morgan. Gets to the point, clearly talented, no funny business — she’s the real deal.

She really understands actors, and, it's clear to me, loves working with them. She's also a terrific voice teacher, and a terrific audition coach. Take a lesson with her. You won't regret it."

"After my first film audition, in as many years, it was quite evident I needed an acting instructor. For months, I looked high and low to find the right one. I wanted an instructor who could challenge me, yet in a nurturing manner. An instructor who can speak confidently about the craft. Above all, an instructor you look forward to seeing every session. Jeremy Kruse is all that and then some.

Within weeks of pairing up, my acting style/delivery is far more conversational. Plus, I’m more at ease when working to find the true essence of a character to develop and make my own.

I always walk away from Jeremy’s sessions learning something new. Jeremy’s constant encouragement has propelled my confidence, as an actor, to another level.

Initially, I wasn’t really into the idea of taking acting classes via FaceTime. The idea sounded so impersonal and potentially distracting, not with Jeremy. It's as if he's working with you, face-to-face, in a studio.

In addition to acting, Jeremy has been so supportive with my first attempt in writing a screenplay. He's such a creative influence.

The secret is out, Jeremy Kruse is the "Best Instructor Ever"! Working with him makes my dreams of becoming an accomplished actor a reality. Thanks Jeremy!"

"Milton J. was on time and a complete professional.

For someone reentering the field of Acting and Musical Theater, Milton J was a perfect choice. He has range in his skill set to address any kind of Music and Theater genres.
I was so impressed, once we really had started on the lesson of what he has in his lesson. Quite a lot to do, that is deep behind the scenes and pre-performance set-up for the student to preset for a chararacter to come out of us. This, I remember from my Professional Acting for Television and Film days was what is called Actors Homework...in LA you are 2 scenes in before my former LA Teacher began to explain the pre-set tech that Milton J came with, right from the start.
Awsome teacher!"

Not only was I able to place complete and utter trust in her extensive knowledge of the craft, but her nurturing energy and humorous demeanor create such a positive environment to take risks and be exploratory in my work. I couldn’t ask for anything more in an acting instructor. She’s truly awesome."
