All of my children have progressed nicely. Carolyn allows the kids to play various types of music once they past the beginner stage. . My son, who has only taken a couple of years, has mastered Bohemian Rhaposody which is no small feat!
She has two recitals a year and is understanding if a lesson needs to be switched every now and then.

Jazz Guitar Performance from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE)
An experienced guitar player of 13 years. Especially good with beginners including both very young and older students. It's never too early or late to start playing! Will cater a specific personal lesson plan to your desires to make sure we move at YOUR best pace. We'll build a solid foundation so that you can learn how to teach yourself and continue to grow and love music long after these lessons. We can get you up and running with your favorite tunes or start delving into the musical theory side of things. I make sure that our lessons are fun but also challenging and I make sure we spend some time learning how to build finger strength, how to improvise, and (most importantly) how to play with other musicians!
I've been playing multiple genres of guitar for over 14 years nd currently a student at SIUE studying jazz guitar for a degree in Jazz Performance. I perform, teach, write, and record my own music. I have experience teaching children as young as 5 years old and adults of all ages. I emphasis not on

I have enjoyed teaching at all levels, a part from creating, it is one of my passions. Teaching and watching my students practice and practice until they have mastered a chord, a song or create a beat, has always brought me joy that is priceless. Music is a strong global force that makes people feel good, gives strength, relaxed, pumped up, and brings everyone closer. I feel amazed and honored to pass my musical knowledge to you. Make time for your passion, and I will guide you.
Music, my daughter and teaching guitar lessons are my passions. If you are testing out the guitar, want to learn chords or want to learn to create a beat, you have stopped at the right profile. I am ready to teach you to be the best musician you can be by developing techniques such as penatonic,
