Maria is a very good instructor, patient and very professional!
I would recommend her to anyone who is in need of gospel singing lessons.

I have worked with and seen Marie Hinds' work over the past 8 years. Not only has she taught children and adults of all ages, she has fostered an intrinsic love for music which is at the soul of any artists' teaching. I have seen Pre-K students identify the different families of instruments to performing songs in different languages under her guidance. She knows how to meet a child.or an adult at their ability level and challenge them enough to help them advance and learn songs they dreamed of mastering! I highly recommend Marie Hinds as a music teacher of singing, gospel singing, piano and reading music. She is also a highly experienced reading teacher. She incorporates her knowledge of reading foundations to translate to reading and learning music. You will receive a holistic approach to music education under Marie Hinds.

Ms. Marie was awesome. She was very patient and encouraging. My daughter learned so much in her first lesson. I am looking to how she progresses.

As every student is unique my teaching style really depends on the student! Some want to learn for fun, others are studying for exams or college. As a result its really important for me to tailor my lessons towards each student and what they would like to work on. For some that could mean working on vocal technique, others working on music and repertoire. I’m adept at adapting to each student’s individual talents and vocal needs and therefore its important that for that each student progresses at a pace that they are comfortable with.

About Biraj

A native of London, England, my recent engagements include the role of Tirsi in Marco de Gagliano’s La Dafne with the European Opera Academy in Bauska, Latvia in July, creating the role of Kenny Fuller in the world premiere of Francis Trester’s ‘Keepers of the Light’ at the Nahant Music Festival in

Taylor is extremely easy to work with and very talented in her ability to advise and challenge you to grow. She's willing to work with you to define goals and help you get there through actionable practice and advising she's learned throughout her career. An important aspect is capturing the reason you need music in the first place and she goes beyond just being a voice teacher and into being a coach/partner to help you achieve your unique goals with music. I've become more confident with my singing which she is able to help me understand requires different skills than just direct vocal practice. I'm excited to continue to learn from her!

"My 10 year old son has no musical knowledge what-so-ever. We wanted him to have some basics, and he was curious about the guitar. Sadly our family isn't musical and it's hard to know where to start. We were lucky to have engaged Stephen. His calm, patient, encouraging approach has been the perfect complement to my son's temperament.

When I overhear snippets of exchanges during their lesson I am excited that my son is making connections and having a conversation about what he's learning. I can't support his instruction because of my complete inability to read sheet music—so I am particularly pleased that he seems to be making observations and taking small steps towards understanding something that confounds me.

My son looks forward to his time with teacher and (so far) is interested in practicing too. Of course we'd recommend Stephen!"

"Theresa is a wonderful teacher! I have had many private lessons teachers, and she is by far the best. She is incredibly patient with me (especially when I get frustrated and struggle with a particular technique) and always challenges me each and every lesson. I feel that her pricing is very fair (my previous teachers charged much higher rates) and she is flexible whenever I cannot meet for lesson (given advance notice). I highly recommend her for anyone looking for teacher --- young child or adult. I have only had her for acoustic guitar lessons, but I imagine she is probably just as competent at teaching other instruments."

Why is My Guitar Feeding Back? A Guitar Feedback Guide

Does your guitar make a shrieking noise when you sing and play? Do you want to harness its power for good? Here, guitar instructor Zachary A. explains the phenomena of guitar feedback and how it can be manipulated to enhance your music... An Example of Feedback The first thing that comes to mind when I think of guitar feedback is Jerry Garcia, the guitarist for the Grateful Dead. Creating a paralyzing shriek, he manipulates guitar feedback in a wizardly fashion, pushing the boundaries of …
