Gave me beginner tips, and pro tricks. Taught me the basics in how to my technically proficient, but also gave me lessons on how to sound awesome to motivate. This wasn't a teacher who would just do drills all day. It was "here's the chords and methods to play your favorite songs". Motivated me to learn. Great teacher 10/10

I found Kai's guitar lessons through a friend, but boy am I suprised! He was able to teach me the fundamentals as a newbie while keeping it engaging! Will absolutely reccomend to anyone beginner or advanced!

Best teacher ever!
I met Mr.Kai from a friend that had recommended him to me. I was nervous, at first, to be taking my very first guitar lessons. I met with Mr.Kai and immediately he made me feel at ease. He’s a very easy-going teacher and most importantly was very patient with me (I feel like i’m a slower learner). 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

I have worked with and seen Marie Hinds' work over the past 8 years. Not only has she taught children and adults of all ages, she has fostered an intrinsic love for music which is at the soul of any artists' teaching. I have seen Pre-K students identify the different families of instruments to performing songs in different languages under her guidance. She knows how to meet a child.or an adult at their ability level and challenge them enough to help them advance and learn songs they dreamed of mastering! I highly recommend Marie Hinds as a music teacher of singing, gospel singing, piano and reading music. She is also a highly experienced reading teacher. She incorporates her knowledge of reading foundations to translate to reading and learning music. You will receive a holistic approach to music education under Marie Hinds.

Ms. Marie was awesome. She was very patient and encouraging. My daughter learned so much in her first lesson. I am looking to how she progresses.

I love teaching piano to beginners! My goal is to nurture well-rounded young musicians, and I incorporate percussion and singing into my piano lessons, making for a very fun musical experience. I focus on building essential skills like reading sheet music, playing by ear, playing with accurate rhythm, reading chord symbols, and even composing original songs!

My approach is unique and many of my students go on to be multi-instrumentalists and song writers. I also offer split lessons between piano and drums.

Please message me and let me know what kind of goals you have for your child!

Mike is one of 4 drum teachers to enter my son Larry’s life, and absolutely the best one. Larry has shown more improvement in the last 6 months with Mike than in the last 4 years combined with all of his previous teachers.

As my son has a disability, it is often hard to find a teacher that can not only help him to find enjoyment and enthusiasm, but treat him like the serious musician he is. The best part of his teaching… Larry doesn’t even realize he’s learning. To him, they just jam.

I’ve seen my son grow not just as a drummer, but as a musician and student since Mr. Mike became his instructor. Now, he can listen better, play better, and have more fun on his instrument. I am very grateful for Mr. Mike’s patience, compassion, and skill set as a drum instructor and for the confidence he brought to my son.
Citlally
Has challenged me to improve my technique and has taught me how to play more advanced beats.
Julie
It’s hard to express how much Mike’s drumming lessons have made a difference in our son’s life. Mike is a visionary teacher who cares about and connects with his students.

To play off what Chaz said, I'm a recovering trumpet player who initially tried my hand at the guitar about 5 years ago. Corey quickly figured out that my talent and background were better suited to the bass. There's been no turning back. Corey's a great teacher! He's always patient, he makes you work, and you enjoy the process. I'd give him more than 5 stars if I could!!

Corey is great. Always positive and happy. Great laughs. His system for teaching has gotten me from clumsy beginner to where I have the confidence to play with others and in front of an audience. He teaches relevant information that helps you know how to PLAY.

"Sandra H. is a teacher you can rely on to encourage you to perform not only for yourself, but for an audience. I can't remember a lesson day when Ms. Sandra wouldn't tell me, once I had mastered a piece, to play for the church congregation, or to one of her colleagues' open recitals. One specific time, I was asked to play 3 songs for the congregation by someone who heard Ms. Sandra specifically praising my skill. I was told to form a group of 3 total, so I invited a friend and my brother to play the trumpet and the violin, respectively. Ms. Sandra was very encouraging and determined to assist in perfecting the pieces I would do within the week I had to prepare, and I'm certain that without the help, the performance would have been a complete, total disaster. She not only provided a teacher's support - helping me practice the correct rhythm and speed, to name the parts I had trouble with - she also gave me a friend's support, telling me not to allow stage-fright to consume my confidence before I even had a chance to start.

What can I say? She's a great teacher, and cares for her students beyond the borders of the musical world."

"Highly recommended!

Taylor is a fantastic musician and a great teacher. She was very patient with my slow learning rate due to my lack of consistent practice, and was extremely flexible and accommodating to busy schedule during the school year. She designed the curriculum to address the areas I was falling behind on or were noted to my be weak spots. Instead of just learning to play the piano, I also got ear-trained, taught to read sheet music, and identify the quirks in different kinds of music.

Above all, she is super-friendly; and so easy to talk to and be friends with in general. As an added bonus, she's got a lovely cat that you can pet on every visit. :)"
