"I was timid and shy. I could barely speak English and I had no business using a sewing machine let alone sewing together an original piece.
I found Laura on takelessons and decided to give her a try.
4 lessons later, I'm highly confident. Fluent in english, and I can sew together designer pieces that would make anyone's jaw drop.
Laura is my bastion to success, and I highly highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn."

"Vena is very knowlegable about patternmaking and haute couture techniques. Besides, that she also helps me to see exactly were difficulties could come up, so that I wouldn't get into the usual beginner troubles!

As a person, she is calm and positiv minded. If you search for someone that knows a lot, has experience in the industry and it super precise- I can really recommend her!"

"Ok I literally just ended my lesson with Trivia and I wanted to make sure I wrote this review before I forgot. She is AMAZING. Her personality is so fun to start. No question is stupid and she REALLY knows her stuff. I had a project in mind that I've been wanting to work on for cosplay but I just had no idea how to approach the concept. I had messaged Trivia in advance to see if that was something she could help me with since this wasn't exactly a typical sewing lesson. She responded incredibly quick and said it was something we could do. She was able to fit me into a short notice class and broke everything down for me making what I thought would be an overwhelming project seem so much more simple now. I can't wait to start and I will definitely be in touch with her again the further I progress.
And just one other cool tidbit. I am in California and she is in Texas which I thought just added a little something more special to the lesson.
Thank you Trivia! Can't wait to talk again soon."
