I am an Italian opera singer. I have almost twenty years as an international soloist, teaching private lessons and master classes in Universities. I also gave master classes internationally at the CNA (Mexico City 2009), the University of Guanajuato (Mexico 2012) and the University of Costa Rica (2013). My most important recent activities as a soloist include the American premiere of the chamber version of the opera DeCachetitoRaspado by Juan Trigos at the Rialto Center for the Arts in Atlanta with Bent Frequency Ensemble (2015). By the same composer, has been remarkable my participation as a guest soprano in the world premier and recording for iTinerant of the works Cantata Concertante No. 3 Phos Hilaron (2013), and Symphony N. 4 Nezahualcoyotl Icuicahuan (Songs of Nezahualcoyotl) for soprano and orchestra, with texts in Nahuatl by Nezahualcoyotl (2016), my participation as a guest soloist with the orchestra Carlos Chávez in Mexico City and at the Eastman School of Music of ...

I've been teaching Orchestral and Band Conducting for 20 years and my students have gone on to develop high-level skills. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to conduct easy pieces and as time goes on you'll be able to conduct a Band or and Orchestra. I specialize in classical music conduct, typically use the methodology of the National Youth System Orchestra from Venezuela "El Sistema". I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

I had my first violin lesson on Sunday with Tarcisio. He is an excellent violin teacher and I highly recommend him. He has a very mild manner and style of teaching which put me at ease and provided a level of comfort in feeling somewhat relaxed and free to play and learn from mistakes, unlike my other teachers who were much more critical. Tarcisio was totally focused on my playing. Within the first 10 minutes of my lesson, I played the first movement of Vivaldi's Concerto in A Minor. Although he said I played very well, I think he was being nice for the first lesson. He then highlighted a few specific technical challenges and how I could overcome them. I especially enjoyed the way he explained, demonstrated and then allowed me to practice techniques to improve my playing. He taught me 3 new things that I never known before, making the lesson very valuable. I also REALLY like Tarcisio's method of teaching. Unlike a lot of academic conservatory teachers, he focuses on the music you are motivated to play and then provides instruction on the style and technical methods of playing a specific musical piece. He provided me with a detailed written homework assignment that was very prescriptive to what I need in order to improve my playing the Vivaldi Concerto in A Minor. His emphasis is not on endless hours of practicing scales, exercises and etudes from the books, he provides tailored assignments to improve style and technique to master playing a real piece of music of MY choice! I've never had this before in a teacher and really appreciate it. I was impressed with Tarcisio after my first lesson and certainly will continue working with him weekly. We have scheduled a specific hour every week for my lessons future lessons. This keeps me motivated to practice regularly with mindful focus and attention to progress quickly. Although everyone is different in who and what they prefer in a teacher, I specifically prefer Tarcisio's coaching style of teaching rather than the more authoritative style of most teachers I've had in the past. Based upon his professional level and skill in playing, I believe the lessons are well worth $65 for 60 minutes as well.

Amazing vocal coach - really connected with my kids!
Rajeev M.
The best instructor of music I ever had. I have zero musical background. But as an adult, wanted for the first time exposure in music. After about 4 one session guitar lessons, each with a different instructor who all basically told me I was hopeless (didn't return my call/text to schedule a next session), never did I think that I would be 20 lessons and months of guitar and voice sessions in with the same teacher.
Because of Jillian, I can throw down chords on a guitar, and sing along while playing, something unimaginable foe someone as musically challenged and illiterate as myself.
My future in music, as an adult whose professional background is medicine and science, appears unfathomably bright. Because of a teacher who had the patience to believe.

I was somewhat skeptical about being to learn to play guitar online but I am sure glad I gave it a try because it was amazing. I've been trying to play the guitar for 20 years and I learned more in 45 minutes with Jillian than I have all this time. Thanks!

"This was my first time taking singing lessons and Gabriel was a pleasant surprise. He gave me voice exercises and taped them and emailed them to me later so that I
could practice. He is friendly and welcoming and seemed to know instinctively what I needed to improve my singing. He is a very caring and patient instructor and it is obvious that he really loves being a music teacher. I would strongly recommend him to anyone that would like to improve their singing."
