The guitar lessons will be entertaining, insightful, and creative - there will be a steady path to getting better on the instrument from week to week.. I like to use an individualized approach that will get the most progress out of each student, taking into consideration all the variables that go into the learning process for that particular student's age, other commitments, prior training, motivation level and willingness to take instruction, and have the student go home with the guidelines and a realistic plan laid out to be referenced and referred to when practicing on their own and making their own personal decisions on how to use their practice time wisely and improve using the guided training that is being received from week to week..

About Axel

I found out early on (age of 13) that I had a facility to teach and help friends understand music concepts. Some said it's a gift, others said it's vocation. To me it was just sharing what I loved. Since I had already decided to make music my career I made it a point to learn more and all I could i

I have been teaching guitar for 40 years. All age groups from 10 to 70. I can teach to read music music and play chords. I believe in a relaxed yet exciting environment while the student learns the art of music, something they will take with them for the rest of their lives.

About Thomas

When teaching I try to make my lessons as easy as possible, informative yet fun. I focus on traditional concepts of teaching while adding a bit of my own knowledge of the procedures which I have found to make the learning process much more enjoyable.

Tom is a well informed music and guitar teacher. I tried two other guitar teachers prior to Tom and they didn’t work out for me. Tom is a natural teacher he’s got it, he just seems to make learning easy.

With exceptional experience in the music business, I have the ability to curate lessons around the individuals needs and wants.

With new students, I discuss what primary goals they have and what intentions they have for studying music. The goals of the student are my first priority. I then assess where they are at with fundamentals, technique, and theory, and work to establish an individualized curriculum that best suits their needs.

I've worked with students ages 12 to 65+, both men and women. Age doesn't concern me, as long as I see a desire to learn and improve.

""Susan J. is an exceptional teacher as well as a warm and friendly person. She is easy to work with, but will challenge you to reach your full potential in a constructive and encouraging way. I have become a noticeably better singer after working with her once a week for just two months. She taught me many things about singing that I would never have thought of, as well as how to warm up my voice and how to sing with passion and emotion without sounding cheesy. Her lessons were invaluable, and there is no question that the experience I gained from taking lessons with her has made me a much better musician. I would highly recommend taking a lesson with Susan if you want to get better at singing or acting!"

"We love how Lena teaches, she cares about each teaching and makes sure we understand the chords and what kind a of music we will playing. Lena is quickly to respond to any song request we may have even if she is not familiar with the song. Especially if it's in Spanish. She has been the best teacher ever. We have taken classes in her house which is good if you are starting. But now that we understand more of the chords and it's position we do online and it works well."

"My son (14) and daughter (12) take voice lessons from Michelle (and Robert) and they have learned SO much. Michelle is great! She is patient and always goes above and beyond. She has become a positive role model for them both and they really look up to her. My kids started voice lessons because they are interested in musical theater, so she has helped them with preparation, auditioning and confidence. Michelle teaches them so much more, though. They are learning songs in different languages and different styles to expand their knowledge and their voices. Their voices have grown so much since starting lessons and I am so proud of them! We are very lucky to have found Michelle and Robert and consider it a blessing to have them in our lives."

The Anatomy of a Hit Pop Song [Infographic]

When you're learning how to write a song, looking at how other songs are structured can be a great place to start. Like looking at a map before you go on a roadtrip, checking out the basic elements of songs you love gives you a sense of how they were written and what you need to do to write a song of your own. If analyzing all your favorite songs sounds like a daunting task (it is), you're in luck. The Billboard Experiment wanted to know if there was a formula that could determine which songs …
