Currently, I tutor students from different countries, including Colombia, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Korea, and Peru to help them in college and business. In Peru and Mexico, I taught ESL full-time to adults, college students, and high school students. The classes ranged from basic English where the students had little to no English experience to advanced business conversation among nearly fluent ESL speakers.

For your first class, we will have a consultation about your goals, strengths, weaknesses, and any education or experience you have with English. From then on, I tailor each and every lesson to fit your needs- this could be speaking, listening, grammar, phrasal verbs, culture, etc. I incorporate various forms of media into my lessons including articles, video, and worksheets. I have been teaching ESL for the past twelve years in places such as Japan, Turkey and the Czech Republic.

I work with students who are tired of being ‘stuck’ in their studies and careers. If you want to help yourself improve, we can work together. My students are my partners.

I specialize in helping language learners find the inner causes of stress, anxiety, lack of motivation and low self-esteem—all of which can limit their progress.

I became a teacher because I wanted to connect with others. No matter your level or ability, communication is possible.

Abilities can be developed over time, with steady progress along the way. Doing things step-by-step is the key to improvement.

The best part of my tutoring is to give a good start for beginners. It will be the easy way. Students will be led step by step to gain knowledge and skills in speaking, reading, writing, and grammar issues as well. An easy start gives an easy way to go.

I know TPR, and have taught a variety of student needs and learning styles. I work to make lessons understandable and enjoy working 1-1 with students!
