I have come to believe that with enough time, practice, and personal desire, anyone can learn to sing. I have taken students from being relatively tone deaf, to performing in front of people with confidence. Ear training is essential as a vocalist and is something we are all improving at daily. With enough exposure and practice, students will identify different intervals and will apply this skill to everyday singing.

About Kristen

Hi! My name is Kristen Reinsch and I am originally from Monterey, CA but am now a Utah native . I am a singer and teacher who loves music more than chocolate and can be found singing in nearly any scenerio! I started my music career in theater at the early age of 8 and haven't stopped singing sin

Kristen is AMAZING! She's not just a voice teacher, she's like a vocal specialist. She has the ability to hear what her students need and then help them fine tune their voice. She helped both of my daughters unlock parts of their voice they didn't know they had. Another gift she has is the ability to teach stage presence and confidence that many teachers don't have. My daughter Emma says Kristen helped her develop her own unique voice and that she's very positive and encouraging. That made all the difference for Emma.

To play off what Chaz said, I'm a recovering trumpet player who initially tried my hand at the guitar about 5 years ago. Corey quickly figured out that my talent and background were better suited to the bass. There's been no turning back. Corey's a great teacher! He's always patient, he makes you work, and you enjoy the process. I'd give him more than 5 stars if I could!!

Corey is great. Always positive and happy. Great laughs. His system for teaching has gotten me from clumsy beginner to where I have the confidence to play with others and in front of an audience. He teaches relevant information that helps you know how to PLAY.

"Alya is an absolute treasure and we are so happy to have found her!  In addition to being an amazing pianist, Alya has been an insightful and inspirational accompanist for my teenage daughter who plays violin. Alya helped her prepare for several competitions and her feedback and guidance greatly contributed to my daughter's strong performance at those competitions. Alya is also a person of integrity, intestinal fortitude and enormous grit. Just hours before one of my daughter's competitions, she severely injured one of her fingers in a scooter accident but instead of allowing us take her to the hospital, she insisted on playing at the competition with my daughter first! Here is a pianist who injured the most critical tool of her profession, and instead of tending to that, put others first!  In today’s world, these type of people are extremely rare and should be revered. We feel blessed to have met Alya and would strongly recommend her for anyone looking for a talented and caring piano teacher or accompanist!"

"Betsy has private space in her home for lessons. This is important for level of comfort. Betsy starts the first lesson with what I would call a consultation. She doesn't just dive in and say ok, you asked for this type of lessen, so this is what we are going to do. She actually asks what your goals are, and checks in on those goals as you progress and master techniques. Another reason I gave her 5 starts is because, unlike a previous vocal coach, she doesn't just have you do a warm up, then practice singing. She actually teaches you techniques to master to improve your tone. As you get a handle on one technique, she teaches you another."

Learn Guitar Now | How to Read Tabs

Although learning to read sheet music is a valuable skill for any musician, most guitarists prefer to use a different type of notation known as guitar tablature or guitar tabs. Guitar tabs give a basic visual representation of the neck of your guitar and use numbers to indicate which notes are to be played. Learning how to read tabs is pretty simple, and, once you get the hang of it, you can easily learn new songs or write down compositions of your own. How to Read Tabs Guitar tabs are …
