Hello all,

I would like to introduce myself: my name is Marc and I would be more than happy to help you with whatever topic you need help with.  I graduated from UConn with a BS in Finance and minors in both Mathematics and Economics. While at UConn, I began tutoring and enjoyed working with a variety of students, teaching them all types of math, from basic to complex content including Statistics and higher level calculus.

Outside of academia, I enjoy playing and watching sports and am a huge San Francisco 49ers fan. I have been playing tennis since I was 5 years old as well as teaching it for over 8 years. Another fun fact-I have been to Disney World over 20 times!

This class will cover the basics of Probability: what it is and how to find it.  We will use Dice, Coins, and Cards as examples to help build the foundation with items students should be very familiar with.  Afterwards there will be practice problems for the students to test their knowledge on.  Statistics knowledge is good to have but not required for this course.

He has been really helpful in teaching me concepts and helping me get homework done so I can understand it and be able to practice these concepts on my own which is really helpful. Also it's great to have calculator tips and shortcuts that make problems easier to solve. Marc has been really flexible and available with timing which has been really helpful.
