Hi there! You may be asking yourself if it's really possible to learn baton twirling online. I have taught over 20 students virtually in the last 2 years. When learning with me through TakeLessons, I include extra videos between lessons to break down elements, and I allow you to screen record if you'd like. 

You can save by buying a 5 package which will be plenty to learn the basics of baton twirling.

I find students these days learn best when they have an individualized approach to teaching. We follow a curriculum, but we always tailor the program to the child. My own child needs extra attention when it comes to youth sports, so I have learned techniques to teaching children with disabilities. 

I have been twirling for almost 30 years, and I have taught all different age levels. I have numerous resources for inspiration, questions, and material. I was the captain at the University of Arizona, and I currently have my own team here in Texas. 

I have trained many twirlers who have gone on to win titles, and I have worked with Elite twirlers to help them perform and compete effectively. My goal is to create more coaches through my teaching and grow the sport of baton twirling.

In this class, you will learn how to create a basic clothing or accessory transition. We will work in IMovie on your computer or phone. This class works best with a swivel chair or stationary item to mark where we stand in each video for the best transitions. We will go through each element of video editing including recording our video and uploading it to IMovie.

Sara is a great teacher!  Very skilled, patient, encouraging and also fun while her student learns. We are so happy that Maxine has learned so much about twirling and has enjoyed every moment!! Thank you for everything!!!!

Sara was excellent! She helped my son take his basic baton skills to a level that won him the entire school talent show. He met with Sara weekly for over six months and loved it. Sara was patient and encouraging. She made it easy for him to learn at his own speed.

Sara is amazing.  This is going to to be so fun shaking my brain again to remember how to twirl (& teach).   She makes it look so easy (I'm so rusty!!!)
