Online Oil Painting Sessions with photo reference of a subject provided by Professional Artist Carolyn Kollegger, teaching artists beginner thru intermediate level, who have never learned or developed a step-by-step way of approaching a painting, whether it be in oils or  acrylics. Subject matter will vary with each session to give comprehensive knowledge of handling different compositions.
Sessions Cover Step-By-Step:
1.) How to start a painting (sounds easy enough - but is it really?)
2.) What to do in the Middle (when you just want to give-up and/or quit!)
3.) Finishing the piece (the most fun or, hardest part?)
These 3 phases will be addressed in detail with students applying  the instruction given by Carolyn. They can then go on to utilize this knowledge and skill on their own works!

My regular art classes were canceled due to COVID-19, but a friend knew someone who was taking some some private classes online with Carolyn and I decided to try it out. Now that I have, I think it's much better than being a single face among many! I'm improving so much with the one-on-one feedback and suggestions that I'm getting and Carolyn is such a kind, funny, and personable woman that I don't feel intimidated at all, even though my skills aren't where I'd like them to be. She's also extremely flexible with scheduling - with the shelter-in-place orders and with kids in the house 24/7, I can't always meet at the same time every session, but she lets me choose what works best for me which is another thing I don't get with regular classes. I'll definitely continue taking classes with her even after life returns to normal. Thanks Carolyn!
