Delve into the expertise of Yekaterina, a multilingual concert pianist and seasoned international educator boasting over 25 years of mastery in pedagogical finesse and child psychology.

Yekaterina's forte lies in guiding students through advanced piano techniques, fostering repertoire development, honing sight-reading skills, and crafting a framework for healthy practice routines.

Originating from Kazakhstan, she commenced her piano journey at a tender age, culminating in a Master's degree in Piano Performance earned within the illustrious education system of the Soviet Union. Her quest for knowledge led her to the tutelage of renowned British pianist Graham Fitch at the University of Cape Town, followed by a deep dive into Jazz Piano under the mentorship of Jose (Chepe) Gonzalez in Central America.

Notably, Yekaterina holds a professional diploma in Child Psychology, complemented by certifications as a yoga, meditation, and breathwork instructor. Her relocation to Costa Rica saw the blossoming of her concert career, while her passion lies in imparting wisdom through teaching. With an extensive teaching tenure spanning over two decades, Yekaterina adeptly conducts lessons in English, Russian, or Spanish, drawing upon her multifaceted expertise in music and child psychology.







Students will learn how to draw with color pencils, starting with the very basics.  Step by step guidance will be provided for each class to help you develop finesse of touch, make you grow as an artist, and get a better understanding of your own style.  More than that, doing art is a great way of entering into a state of "flow", a meditative state of mind that will have a profound impact on many other parts of your life.

Yekaterina is my favorite yoga teacher, a kind spirit with a gentle soul, thoughtful and patient.  I love taking her classes because they are challenging but relaxing at the same time and a  fantastic way to get a good workout. They are a mix of strength, flow, deep breathing, and relaxation.   I've learned so many new things taking her classes, 5 Tibetan Rites, Chakras, Mantras, Breathing techniques, meditation and many new poses.  I've never felt stronger, more in-tuned with my mind and body, as she continues to help me grow spiritually.

These classes are excellent!  You are guided through every step of the routine, breathing and meditation.  When I started with yoga and meditation classes (thanks to Yekaterina) I did not know what to expect, but with regular practice, these exercises and meditations helps me manage daily stress, improves my mood and helps me improve my chronic shoulder pain.  I also noticed that I sleep better.  I do some exercises during the class, and skip (or adjust) others, to suit my level of comfort and flexibility.  I am planning on continuing with these routines for as long as I can. Wonderful!

Yekaterina has been excellent with my 11yr old son. My son is currently learning Spanish. Learning a second language can be challenging. Yekaterina has great teacher abilities, she is able to teach my son the Alphabet, pronunciation, verbs, nouns, adjectives, Masculine words, Feminine words, conjugate verbs etc. She is very patient and has a nice approach to push your abilities in learning! Give Yekaterina a try you will be impressed!

If I could give Yekaterina 100 stars, I would gladly do it! She has a bright and friendly personality, very wide span of knowledge and is very patient, especially with this 64-year old engineer who wants to learn the Russian language! She uses real texts (not screen shots from somewhere) and I felt very much at ease with my current limits in pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and cultural knowledge.

Yekaterina is a very knowledgeable Spanish instructor.  She is very patient, fun to work with and ecouraging.  My Spanish speaking ability improved greatly.  I recommend her highly.

She's always very clear with instructions and takes time to explain things to you when you need help. She is also very patient when you need help understanding grammar and learning to pronounce things correctly.

Yekaterina can hear and point out a wrong note in a chord without even seeing what I am playing.  Her hearing ability is very impressive.  Apart from that she is very structured, and and gives very clear instructions on what needs to be done in every peice.   She types it all in a chat after every lesson, so one knows exactly what to do to from lesson to lesson, and keep track on what has been hapenning and the progress.
