I am an accounting coach and Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor.  I own Tylam Bookkeeeping Systems, LLC which specializes in QuickBooks Cleanup, QuickBooks Training, and Virtual Bookkeeping.  My business philosophy is, “Better Books. Better Business.” I offer QuickBooks support to business clients throughout the country. In addition to my bookkeeping business, I have been teaching accounting and Microsoft office courses to adult learners at community colleges and universities since July 2008.  I have a Master of Business Administration degree in Information Systems Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.  I have worked as both a Staff and Senior Accountant in various industries for over 20 years.

If your QuickBooks is messy, I can help you clean up QuickBooks and provide you with an accurate financial picture for business decision-making or tax preparation. I am knowledgeable in all areas of QuickBooks including QuickBooks setup (chart of accounts, customers, vendors, items), receivables and payables Management, bank and credit card reconciliation and management, and other key areas.  My lessons are customized to allow you to address the issue with QuickBooks and the best approach to correcting the issue.  I enjoy helping businesses clean up QuickBooks and I would love to help you get your books in order!

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, and now living in the Atlanta, Georgia Metro area, I am an avid Philadelphia sports fan and I support all of the major sports teams.—Especially the Philadelphia Eagles who is my favorite team. When I am not teaching or working in my business, I enjoy traveling either on cruises or all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean.

In past classes with other platforms I felt stupid for asking questions because maybe they were common knowledge so I ended up not learning anything. Excellent patient thorough instructor. He was assisting with tax preparation. I had a QuickBooks program and no idea of how to use it. He went line by line and taught me how to reconcile by books.
