I am an adult beginner violinist. When I first met Stephanie, I had barely touched a violin, but I was determined to learn how to play it. With her help and patience, I am progressing through the Suzuki method as well as doing ear training and music theory. Stephanie is an excellent musician as well as instructor! Her method of teaching keeps the students engaged, encouraged and excited about learning music from all sides of it.

I strongly recommend Ms. Quinn. She is amazing. I love a teacher who is passionate about what she does and Ms. Quinn has motivated me to love the violin and work harder to improve. She is slightly strict but very patience and kind, always pushing you to work hard and do your best. I learned to play violin a few years ago as a beginner and stopped playing for a few years. I was nervous to begin online violin lessons considering that I learn better face to face. However, Ms. Quinn has done an amazing job at teaching me, I have been taking lessons with her for a year now and have learned so much I didn’t know before which has also grown my love for violin.

Stephanie helped my younger one prepare for competition. She was highly skillful, supportive yet strict. Initially, my girl was a bit nervous to work with Stephanie because of her high reputation. Stephanie was very kind and fun, using metaphors to help my 10-year old understand the music. She not only helped my child overcome barriers to master the music piece but also shared much practical advice for competition. We did not expect this but my 10-year old won the first prize and was invited to perform in Carnegie Hall New York. Highly recommend Stephanie!!!

"Extremely talented and personable

I took lessons with Stacey during my senior year of high school. Studying voice with her improved not only my overall musicianship, but my confidence in what I specifically had to offer as a musician. Stacey helped prepare me for my college voice auditions. So, if you're looking for a teacher who is extremely talented, personable, and will push you to succeed, I highly recommend studying with Stacey."

As co-prinicpal trumpet and Associate Music Director of the Hanover Wind Symhony it's my pleasure to have worked with Dimitry for over 15 years. Dimitry is an exceptionally gifted and highly respected clarinetist who brings years of global performance experience to his teaching. Polite, patient and well spoken it is a pleasure to listen to him speak about music, no matter what the subject or genre. His passion for his craft is evident from the very first time you meet him. "Athena is an AMAZING teacher!!! She had my 6 year old daughter playing a song on the very first lesson in a way that my daughter wanted to practice it all week. During the lessons all I hear coming from the room is piano playing and laughter. Her lessons are everything I wanted - full of laughter and learning. She isn't just teaching piano. "Jonathan has been a wonderful teacher to our granddaughter Madison. She is very shy, and he has been very considerate and understanding towards her. His teaching technique has been superb, and she has learned so much in a short amount of time. He is teaching her to really understand the language of music which will benefit her with any future endeavors she may have with music. We would recommend Jonathan to anyone wanting to learn an instrument especially children because of his empathy towards them."
