My critique during your lesson is always honest, so you know when I give you a compliment it is well deserved. I especially love working with non-singers and helping them find their voice. I always start with an assessment to see where your work is currently at and where we can go from there. I keep notes during your lesson, send you an email afterwards with your homework for the week, then I use those notes to think of personalized ways to improve your technique before your next lesson.
If honesty and results are what you're looking for in a teacher, I promise to be that teacher for you.

Marcin has been teaching since 2010 and greatly enjoys seeing students grow and improve. He breaks down all his concepts in great detail, making them easy to digest and comprehend.

Marcin was extremely professional and nice and made me feel at ease. He made it easy to ask questions and explained things really well for me. I took five lessons with him (I've been traveling and haven't been back yet) and was able to play a few songs. What I really like was Marcin's enthusiasm, which, for me, is really encouraging. He was interested in my goals and kept them in mind with each lessons. I could tell that he was preparing each lesson just for me and based on my progress and I felt that I could be honest with what I was doing. Totally recommend Marcin for lesson!

More over, his lesson is pretty casual and funny. I feel comfortable with it.
All in all. For me, as a starter. He's a good guitar teacher.

As a classical and jazz musician turned singer/songwriter, I'm interested in teaching not just instrument technique but overall musical fluency to and engaging every student's creativity including music theory, ear training & light improvisation.
I teach not just how to play, but why we play this and empower students to write their own music when they are ready.
I have two full-length self-produced albums out that I played all the instruments on and regularly perform in NYC and the North East. For over a decade, I've been teaching in major NYC institutions such as the Brooklyn Music
Please reach out with any questions or concerns! My aim is to cater these lessons to each student's particular needs and want to learn more about what makes you interested in music.
While most of my life has been spent performing, I discovered a love for teaching after college. I have been teaching music and theater for 5 years, and two years ago I began teaching ESL to elementary students in Turkey. I fell in love with teaching English, and feel my training in theater and music helps me use different, exciting teaching techniques in our lessons. I am conversational in both Turkish and Spanish as well!
No matter if we're working on music, acting, or English, I'm incredibly committed to my students and want each lesson to be fun and motivational. I'm a patient, supportive teacher, and know that each student is unique and moves at his/her own pace!

Lots of rehearsals coming up? Feeling under the weather? In this article, singing teacher Elaina R. shares an important vocal health tip that can save your voice! The tenor in my professional vocal quintet is named Mark. Its a perfectly good name, but for a singer it can be frustrating. Nearly every day someone announces that they are going to mark, and poor Mark gets confused. Sometimes even Mark has to mark. What the heck am I talking about? Marking is an important skil … Read More
