I met Jeffrey after one of his performances at Loyola University and hired him to give my son lessons. He is really passionate with his teaching and seems quite knowledgable on the subject of classical cello. Would definitely recommend him to any individuals or parents looking to hire a cello teacher out there.

My son has a great student–teacher relationship. It takes the right teacher to help enjoy learning while challenging him to improve with each lesson and not to short any song. Steve's online sound experience has really impressed us.

I played an organ years ago ( I am 70 years old) and lost a lot of skills. I now have a digital piano, but I was not satisfied with my progress.

So I signed up for lessons with Steve. I took piano lessons from Steve for about 18 months. I moved about an hour away, so it was not practical to continue with him.

The lessons from Steve were exactly what I was looking for. He figured out my skill level and set up a plan for me. He stressed the fundamentals while teaching a song at the same time. Being able to play a song, even a simple one, was a great reward. Then we progressed to develop more skills and more interesting songs.

Steve is patient, attentive and a good coach. He genuinely loves teaching and finds that “spark” in to build on. I saw this many times as I would listen to him teaching the student before me.

Steve is a great teacher and I strongly recommend him.
Nicole
Steve is a great instructor and took the time to work through any challenges and helped our son grow as a drummer. He has a great virtual setup that makes it sound you are in the studio with him.

"I needed last minute coaching for an upcoming audition and was feeling unprepared and frazzled. Chelsea easily knew what I needed. She made recommendations, was wonderfully engaging, and her insight and ear highlighted some important tweaks that I would have overlooked in my haste to prepare. After just one session I felt clearer, calmer, and considerably more confident. Bonus: Chelsea is incredibly kind, fun to work with and makes you feel you already know one another. Chelsea has my highest recommendation"

"There are not too many accordion teachers to choose from where I live. I studied with the nearest one, who was 40 minutes away. I had to lug my accordion and spend at least 2.5 hours out of my week to get my lesson. Not having much of a choice in instructor gives you little choice in teaching method or approach. Although my teacher is a great player, I was having problems with the material and lessons.

I was lucky to find Shelia online! She is a breath of fresh air. She really makes the lesson fun. And you can tell she loves to play. I actually enjoy playing again and I enjoy practicing and taking lessons. She has a large repertoire to pull from, and she meets you at your level. I was worried that it wouldn't work out taking lessons online, but so far it's been great.

Oh and one more thing, she only teaches accordion. She's not a piano teacher that also teaches accordion. It's her only instrument. It's very important to me to have that in an instructor."

"Bijan is a great teacher. Learning to play the cello as an adult is tough, but he's very organized and encouraging. The recital was very anxiety-inducing, but we did really well and I felt a great sense of accomplishment afterward. I am only discontinuing due to distance and time constraints."

"Molly is lovely and does everything possible to make you comfortable from the second you meet her. I was very nervous about singing 'in front' of someone for the first time (only do it in my car-alone). Molly really made me feel at ease but got to business so we were taking advantage of our time. I am beyond excited to have gone with Molly and look forward to future sessions!"

He doesn't tell me I'm doing great if I'm not in fear of getting a bad review (haha) ...he's great and takes moments to correct me if I'm doing something wrong. He's genuine and a great great teacher!! I guess I would recommend him. NOT. OF COURSE I WOULD!"

"I've had a very positive experience with Troy for vocal training. I'm an adult learner with some classical guitar experience, but I've always been terrified of singing. Since starting lessons many months ago, I've noticed steady improvement in my vocal skills and confidence. Our repertoire so far has included popular songs, broadway, and classical. Troy has a deep and broad understanding of music in general, and our lessons have expanded based on my interests to include ear training, music theory, and writing arrangements. Troy is both knowledgeable and approachable - a rare combination - and I would highly recommend him to students of all backgrounds."
